Hi, this is Christina and Carmen and this is another episode of a Spooky Tale. It's a podcast for all things A Spooky Hunter places legend, smiths and trew crime in Latin America. Today we have a story from Ondudas and one from Oh my God, Where's Mine? From Oh Bedu my bad Wow, and we went from Peru. But before we get to that, we do have a listener story. But before that, we do have a listener story. And if you have a story that you want to send to us, you can email as Pooky Tees at gmail dot com. You can DM any of our socials. You can submit it on Discord, you can call it a Spooky hotline, or you can DM it on Instagram. Anyway, do you want to read this listener story? Okay? And this was sent to us via Instagram from Sikstom. All right, so here's some context. So my dad told the story to my whole family and me. My dad says that this story was told directly to him by my uncle, who was there on the night that this story takes place. My uncle was actually there to witness this. My uncle says this happened about twenty six years ago. So like in nineteen eighty nine. This story takes place in Mexico in the state of San Luis. I think it's San Luis Potosi. I think you're right. Anyway, anadancho close to the city of Matejola. My uncle's aunts and grandparents, and my cousins all lived on a ranch that was far from the main city and far from any other people. The dancho consisted of only our family members, and the nearest nanto with any people was around twenty miles away. My uncles and aunts used to get together in one of the living rooms to play lotria very late at night, almost every night. They would start like at ten pm and wouldn't stop till like three or four am. Wow it's a long game. Oh. They would play with actual money, so they were determined to finish out the rounds. There's your answer. Yeah. My grandparents would constantly complain by telling them that it was wrong to play lotria very late at night because it's somewhat of a gambling game, and playing it at three or four am. Would please do devil? I was gonna say, yeah, diabolical behavior. My uncles and aunts just shrugged off their warnings and they thought, Nah, they don't know what they're talking about. They're just saying old people things like outdated superstitions that aren't true and ridiculous. One night, my uncles and aunt were all gathered around playing O Threa again like usual, when all of a sudden, they heard knocking on the front door. The door was made completely out of wood except for a glass window piece close to the very top of the door, so that my uncles and aunts would be able to see who was knocking outside. That's medacine. My uncle went to go check the door to see who was knocking. He got to the door and lifted the mini curtain that was covering the window piece to look outside, and he saw a goat standing on her tine legs looking right back at him to the window. Get the fuck out. My uncle looked back at the rest of the family and said as a pincha chi Oh my god. He thought it was the actual chivo, and then he said, yok ambrelaway, you standing on its legs. Isn't that what he said? It's standing on my legs. Oh my god. Les knocked and he's like, it's the goat. It's hungry. The rest of the fam told him that they could just feed him after they finished plane and told him to come back. So my uncle went back and they kept playing for about another hour. It was now around one am when my uncles and aunts heard knocking on the door again, but this time it was louder. My uncle got up fast and went to go check the window. He looked outside and saw the goat looking right back at him. They made eye contact for about ten seconds, and then my uncle put the curtain down again so the goat couldn't look inside. The goat had a blank expression on its face, like it wasn't really hungry, that's the problem, and they just wanted to see what my uncles and aunts were doing inside. So it's not a hungry girl. It's just she's most as my teacher goat. It's a curious goat. My uncle thought to himself, stupid goat man, we feed right now. He walked back to the table and told the family, I can't believe they still think it's rather go okay. He walked back to the table and told the family that it was just a goat. It's just a good again, knocking like a regular goat does. Okay, twice knocking twice, so a few more hours passed. It was now around three or four am. My uncles and aunts had just finished plain oia and they were about to start putting it away, but they were interrupted by more knocking on the door. My uncle said, it's probably that stupid ass goat, and then he walked to the door. When he looked outside, he saw the goat again looking back at him. He said, yeah, boy, no, must hold on, slip on my boots on. He dropped the curtain and went to his room and put his boots on. As he was heading to the door to go outside and feed the goat, he walked by the family he was putting away little ta stuff and said, arachio, I'll be back. I'm going to feed the goat. When he got there, he saw something strange and got scared as fuck. The goat was already tied up to its regular wooden steak and there was food in its dish. My uncle was confused. This is because there was only one goat on all of our family's dancho, and the nearest dancho was over twenty miles away. What goat was knocking I don't know, and the animals of the other Danchos never walked onto the property of my uncles and aunts. He looked at the tied up goat as it was eating its food one last time, and then hurried back into the house. He walked and told everyone, Oh, yeah, bincha chiboo, the goats already tied up, y'all. What the hell's going on? Who knows? So then he asked everyone if one of them tied the goat. Everyone there said no, we didn't do it. But then another one and my uncle said, oh, wait, yeah, I told my son to go tie up the goat earlier today, like at seven or eight pm. My uncle, who went outside said exactly, so, what the fuck is that thing that was knocking? My other uncle and the rest of the family realized what he was trying to say, because they also saw the goat looking into the living room earlier, as my uncle had lifted up the curtain and moved out of the way so they could see it too. One of my aunts said maybe it was the devil, and the rest of my aunts and uncles agreed that was probably that it probably was, and they were all hell scared. They all stayed together that night and agreed to not play Lotia that often anymore. They also agreed to never play Lotoria at their ten PM. They told my grandparents about this, and my grandparents look scared when they heard it. My grandpa said, yeah, eski passa por sae, who is Mamala's see what happens when you guys play so late. Good thing you guys don't do that shit anymore. That's the whole story. Guys. I'm okay kind of scared that they're typing all of that. Thanks for making episodes, and I hope y'all keep making a lot more. I low key to avoid y'all's three crime episodes, but after hearing one of them, I started listening to all the crime ones y'all have made, and I really liked them all. Thanks for your time. I stay a spooky wow six, So thank you so much for the story. That's so creepy and that was Satanas for sure. That was satan for sure. For sure, it was creepy, but also funny. And what was really funny is that the goal was standing on a time like knocking and they were still like, yeah, just to goat you know what? It was either satan or a white chivo. Oh yeah, honestly both horrible. Yeah yeah, yeah, but like and not twice and they're still like, and it looked in the window, like, what kind of goes be here? Is that? That's so funny? Also, this had, this story had like everything that I love, a rancho, all the family ignoring, like a grandparent saying something, a warning and satan. Yeah. The only thing that would have made it even better would have been if the goat would have talked. If it would oh yeah, Also that would have been funny. The teeth one of that too. Yeah. Okay, now we'll get into the spooky story. So we are talking about had Italia famously not an Italian, not in Italy parentheses, not in Italy. Okay. Imagine sitting down at the local cafe, sipping on capsito when a couple asks to join you. They want you to be the third. What are they asking? They're asking to be your third I mean they're third, Okay, they're actually not asking that. You say sure because it's crowded and there really are in any other seats available, And luckily they turn out to be pretty cool and they don't ask you to be there, to be there. Half an hour goes by you're having a good time. When someone else taps your shoulder, they ask who you're talking to, because there's no one else at your table, at least no one alive. Yes, this was a ghost couple. You do not want to agree to be their third, even in eternal third. Yeah. This was apparently a common occurrence at Eljal, which used to be one of the first restaurants in the area. It's not in Italy but in It was founded in the nineteen thirties and then attracted tons of people young people, poets in intellectuals, professors, as coffee shops. Do you know, But these types of things had been happening for a long time before it was a cafe. It was a regular house built in the eighteen eighties. The owners sold it in nineteen thirty and it took three years for it to open as a two story cafeteria. The strangest part is that normally haunted places have a different backstory, like it was a hospital, a school, But this place was just a regular old house. During the three year construction phase, workers noticed things. Their tools would be moved, they would find nails buried in stones, things that were clearly not an accident. Their wooden boards would be moved, plus bricks and just too many things. They started to blame the previous owners, who may have cursed the place because they didn't want to sell but were forced to. Others said, no, it goes way back, because the previous owners definitely wanted to get rid of the house due to the paranormal experiences they had there. Oh, so this is before it was a restaurant, was already haunted something It's been haunted forever. According to l In, some Spanish men that arrived in Body years ago decided to hide some jewels and gold they had stolen. They dug a deep hole and left in a hurry. Sometime later they returned for their treasure, but when they returned they were killed on the spot. No one ever found their gold. This exact spot is where the house would be built. On top of that, it is said that if anyone tried to dig up the hidden treasure, they would meet the same fate as the Spaniards did. And this is where the paranormal occurrences began. So it's the Spanish is fault, the spanishes the Spaniard's fault. I didn't even question that. I was like yes, exactly. Fast forward to nineteen sixty there were only two customers there. They asked the waiter for two cups of coffee. The waiter walked up to them with their coffee, but when he brought them their coffee, their appearance changed and their eyes became more and more sunken, until they looked like skulds instead of a human face, and then they vanished to thit air. The waiter dropped the coffees, of course, understandably, so yes. On another occasion, the entire kitchen staff ran out of there because some entity was going crazy, just throwing all of their things around and turning off everything they turned on. This didn't calm down until they went to grab a priest to bless the place. Then, in nineteen sixty two, all the waiters watched one of their regular customers talking by himself for two hours wow. When he was leaving, they asked him, hey, are you okay, And the guy, who was a lawyer, was like, yeah, I'm okay. Why And that's when they told him that he was talking to himself for like two hours, and the lawyer almost fainted. He was shook. When he calmed down, he told the waiters that two men had walked up to him and asked if they could stay with him because there weren't any other seats, and he said yes, and they told him about a treasure. They knew where it was and they could help him dig it up. But he was like, oh no, it's okay, that's smart, just a picture that just like two random men walking up to you, like, hey, can we sit here? Also treasure? Do you win? You want to help us dig it out where it is? Are you not? Yes, they insisted, and then told them they could show me exactly where it was, but if he dug it up, he could be cursed because death himself was guarding this treasure. Well, no wonder, he said no. So yeah, he was like no, thank you, and the two men were like, okay, no worries and they shook the lawyers and handod bye. The light of that light. Yeah, he didn't put two and two together because once he was telling the waiterses, he remembered that their hands were super cold. Then, in nineteen seventy four, there used to be another building in front of the restaurant. A guard of that building heard a very loud noise coming from the restaurant. He walked over to check it out, and he looked through the window to see a very tall man, probably six feet tall, dressed in all black. The man was staring back at the guard. The guard then yelled out to him and decided to try and run after him. Then the tall man in black ran and vanished into a wall. The guard was never seen again. He probably quit that same night as what I although, honestly I would pick in there and just let him be, like, that's fine there, he's in there. I know I'm an empty bills, but then he probably would have never seen a vanage, you know, and then he's carred for life. Yeah, yeah, mind your business and you won't get haunted. In nineteen eighty, Italia closed down forever. Today it's divided into several businesses. The building is there, but it's not a two story cafe anymore. You can find a shoe store and a clothing store there now. But the stories continue, including a security guard who was recorded having a conversation with someone he sees, but the camera does not capture ghost. It was probably those two, those two again asking them if they want there's a treasure. We know exactly where it is are you down? Are you down down? What? Honestly I might say, yes, I don't know, I don't know, I don't know. Yeah, and yeah, that is Cafe Italia again, not an Italia famously, not an Italy famously, not an Italy. That was fun. It had like a restaurant a former legend of a bury treasure, which we love Burry treasures here. Okay, I mean everything, So that was fun. Wow. Yeah, all right, Well we'll take a little break here and then we'll come back with my story from Peru, and we're back. This following case shook not only Paru's small, tight knit Jewish community, but also the entire country. And I was shocked to just like not know that this happened, because I guess here in the US wouldn't really get like I feel like other countries know of the US's most like well known true crime cases, like they'll know about them, but I don't know about you know, right, other ones. So this is Peru's and this is the case of medium fefe. And here's the setting. It was a fresh August morning. There's a locked bedroom door, and inside that locked bedroom door, and inside that locked bedroom door, one of the most successful businesswomen in all of Peru. She was found dead with the computer cord wrapped around her neck and her broken acrylic fingernail pieces all over the bed and the floor, and there were clear signs of a struggle, of a struggle she fought her attacker heart. She was Silvia midiam fefer sa Jetes. She was born in nineteen thirty five in Peru and there's not much known about her childhood, but by the time of her death in two thousand and six, she was one of the most well known people in Peru's highest social circles. She was married to Marco Bracamonte and had two kids, Eva and Ariel. After her divorce, she lived in the very prestigious neighborhood of Sanni Sidro in Lima, Peru, and her Eva and Ariel lived in the big mansion that once belonged to her own father, and she was known to like her luxuries and she had perfectionist tendencies. She attended Leon Pinello, Lima's highly esteemed Jewish school, and she worked as an executive in her father's real estate company. She had many friends and just as many enemies, including her own family, which is maybe come in if you're a multimillionaire, I don't know. I wouldn't know. And because of who she was, it was no surprise at her murder and the trial. It was a media frenzy. They ran with this and went wild. So on the night before Medium Fefed was found dead in her room, the fourteenth of August two and six, the butler checks all the locks on every door and window, as he did every night, and everything was locked in the Fefed mansion, and it was just like every other night, except one tiny detail. Medium had these two Maltese dogs that slept with her every night, and for whatever reason, that night, they were not in her room. They were in Ariela and Eva's rooms upstairs. Seeing yeah, already, Like that's the one thing that was different. Medium was working late on her computer. At some point, Medium heard Eva walk down to the garage, supposedly to grab a textbook for some homework she was doing, and then you know, she fell asleep. At some point then everyone was asleep. Medium woke up the sounds in her room. There was an intruder and she didn't even have time to scream. This person attacked. There was a fight, but the intruder grabbed the cord from her computer and used that to strangle her, and then the intruder grabbed her laptop, cell phone, some change that was on the night table next to her, and fled. And in the morning, the butler unlocked her door to bring her the day's newspaper and her breakfast, like he did every morning. That's when he came across her dead body with the cable still there. Just like this intruder left her, and the butler screamed, and this very loud scream woke up Eva and Arielle upstairs. That's when they called an ambulance, but it was too late. Vidiam died some time between midnight and to thirty on the fifteenth of August, and now they were left with questions who could do this? A lot of people because she had a lot of enemies, including her own family. They were like, where do we even start. I mean, it had to be someone that had access to the home because nobody broke in, right, there's no signs for breakin, and then they locked her door before they left. I don't know, Yeah, it's weird, right, Yeah, it points to someone she knew, right, Yeah, maybe I don't know. So to understand why she had so many enemies that were in her own family. We had to go back to her own father for a second. Her father was Endrika Feffed Bradstein. He was born March tenth, nineteen twenty four in Poland. And because we know what happened in history in his adulthood, he had to flee Poland and he landed in Lima, Peru, where he started a very successful business worth at least three million dollars by the time he died. And in Peru he met a woman named Leoni Herrera and they had four kids, Sarah, Este, Luis, Endrique, and Sonya. And yes, Mediam was not part of these four kids. Her mom was Gluingda Saiettes and Mediam was in a fair child. Yeah, and so her for you know, siblings didn't like her based on that alone. Then in nineteen eighty four, at sixty nine years old, Enrique was diagnosed with diabetes and this led him to finally sit down make his will and how he was going to split everything up. He was like, my health is getting I'm getting older, I'm facing this new health issue. Let me just write this up. And so Mediam was never close to her siblings. I mean, because you know, of I guess, because he wasn't a fair child, like, they were just never gonna like her for that because of their mom. Yeah, well yeah, like I mean, most kids don't, especially rich people, like I don't know, I feel like if there's a child out of like the marriage, they're never going to like that kid. Like, So they didn't like her, although it's not the kid's fall, you know, no, not at all, like, not at all. But that was the reason they didn't like her already from the minute she was born. And this worsened when it came to the will because Endrique left two thirds of his fortune to his what he that's hm, he used his legitimate kids because they were from his you know, marriage, and one third to medium and this one third included the realtor business. And he had a lot of businesses, not just but that was one of the more successful businesses, and he left that to her, which made the other siblings angry because they felt like she didn't deserve it. And time had passed since he wrote the will, and things only got worse since. But then in November nineteen ninety nine, Mediam and her mom prepared a meal for her father at the Isidrom mansion. And when they were done eating, Mediam went to the kitchen and came back with the cake for her father that she made herself with love. And this was weird to him because he was iabetic and he took extreme care of his diet. He was very very strict about it, and so she was like, oh, don't even worry. She used artificial sugar and special ingredients so that he would be able to eat it, but he refused to eat it. He was like, no, I'm not breaking my strict diet. I'm not doing it. And when the night was over, the cake remained there. Like her mom and her they didn't touch the cake either, so it was still there. No one need it. That's weird. Right then and again went to lay down and when he was trying to sleep, he realized someone else was in his room. It was Clorinda Mediam's girl, Clorine. What are you doing? She was holding a syringe and she injected straight glucose into his stomach. Oh my god, So she was trying to kill him. She was trying to kill him. Yes, in short, she was trying to kill him. He was able to wake up a time, call an ambulance. He was all right, he made it to the hospital. But then his relationship with Mediam was not all right because her and her mom tried to kill him. Oh my god, and she claims that she didn't. Right. He accused her of trying to poison him with the cake because she was insisting that he ate it and he didn't want to. They didn't touch it either, like, right, it looks bad. And then you know, then her mom straight up tried to kill him, right, which looks worse. And they were trying to make it seem like a natural death. And so because of this what happened, he removed her from her will, from his will. He removed her from his will, and she was like, no, it's all a misunderstanding. But nobody believed her. Absolutely, nobody believes her. I don't know anyway, her relationship worsened with her siblings and her dad understandably so. And now even her own kids were upset because they were like, oh my god, what if we're left out of the will too? And then in two thousand and four, and Jikae passed away at seventy nine due to some complication with diabetes. And while this isn't public, there are different versions of his will online. What version says that the one third that was supposed to go to Medium before she tried to kill him was going to go to her daughter Eva, but because Eva was underage, it was all going to be under Medium's control until Eva turned eighteen, and some say nothing was left to them. Whatever the real details are, we can almost be certain that whatever the will was was the reason for her death because Eva is directly tied to the murder of her mother, and supposedly Eva was going to be the beneficiary of that will. As students said, if I went out to the garage to get homework or something whatever, I was like, alarm bells are ringing, mm hm and yeah, because if her mom wasn't around, she would already be getting that money. So when the murder first happened, police believed that this was a robbery gone wrong. They figured that an intruder jumped the walls around the mansion, walked across the garden, used an open bathroom window to enter the mansion, but none of this really added up because if it was an intended robbery, the only items taken were her laptop and her cellphone when there was there was already or there were already so many visible violables that could have been taken without even entering her room. There were no tracks from the garden to the house. There was no forced entry into a medium's room. And when the first DNA results came back from Media and Medium's nail, it didn't match to anyone. Because they got everyone's DNA that was in the house that day to try and match it. It didn't match to anyone. One. More detail, the dogs that were upstairs, they didn't bar. That means there was no stranger in the house Ryan or maybe they were too far. Normally they slept with her, but again they were upstairs with both kids and Ariel, And there were too many loose ends, too many things I just didn't add up, and so the case became cold. And then things started happening within the Fafet family. Immediately after Medium's death, Eva and Arielle's partners moved in. Then they started having parties like parties. Eva and Liliana, her girlfriend, started getting more obnoxious and rude. People are like, what's wrong with you? Were like, mom, weird? And then they were spending more and more money and the business that went to mediums, it went to Eva, and Eva hired her girlfriend and then kicked her brother Arielle, out of everything, out of the company, even out of the mansion. Oh though others saying he left the mansion because he didn't trust his sister anymore. So no one knows for sure. And then three whole years went by and like not, this didn't go anywhere, But then something new happened in Argentina. So something new happened in Argentina. Yes, okay. Colombian Cicadio Alejandro Trujillo Ospina, also known as Payaso, was in the Salta province of Argentina tracking his next hit because he's a hired hitman, and apparently to hire him, all you need is his email, Like, if you know that you're good, there's no black what is it? Dark website? What do they call that dark web? Dark? Why? My god? Wow, that took me too long to get there. There's no dark web. You just need a email? Doesn't seem smart? I know? Right? He was ready to kill his next victim, a highly successful lawyer, and it must have been his lawyer skills because he negotiated his way out of this hit. Wow. He offered to double whatever Alexandro was being offered, and Alexandro agreed. A couple of days later, he went down to the bank to get his money, but it was a trap. The police was already there waiting for him, and he was put in jail in January two thousand and nine, and already his way of like killing apparently looked very similar to the way Medium was killed, although the police in Randia I didn't know this at the time, but when he was in jail, apparently he loves to talk and talk and talk and show off and he was like talking to anyone who would listen. And another prisoner overheard him showing off about his previous you know, hits, including Medium Fifed, and this prisoner told an officer, and then this news made its way to Peru. With this information, police and Peru started looking into all of this, and this is how they came across emails between Eva and Alejandro the hitman Wow. And then on top of that, Alejandro's ex mother in law gave a statement to police in Argentina which somehow showed that Eva had hired him like she knew something and gave this information Wow and so they reopened Mediums case three years later, and in July two thousand and nine, they tested the DNA that they found under Medium's figuernails and it was a match for Alejandro Trujillo and so now they knew, yeah, he was the person who was hired to kill Medium, and Eva and her girlfriend Lilliana were charged with hiring him. But Eva maintained her innocence while Adieah, her brother, was like, yeah, I knew it all along. It was her. And then their own dad took Eva's side. If that doesn't tell you who the favorite sibling was like, yeah, he should have taken no sides. He should have been there for his wife. Oh the way, okay, there are separated gotcha, gotcha? And so they were both like no, she's innocent. But in September two thousand and nine, Eva and Lilliana turned themselves in and then in twenty ten, Alejandro Trujillo was extradited from Argentina to Peru. And after this the process was long. There was trials, appeals. Alejandro changed his story again and again he said that he went in to rob the place, not because it was hired, because this would lessen his life sentence if there was a robbery gone wrong instead of premmit murder. And of course the evidence just didn't line up with this story at all. Investigators believed that the night before Medium died, Eva didn't go down to get a textbook like she had initially said. They believe this is when she unlocked the doors after the butler had already locked them, so that Alejandro could make an easy entrance. It wouldn't look forced, just straight to his target. There was another theory presented that Ariel was the one who hired him and the one who led him in, but the evidence just didn't point to that because the email trail led straight to Eva and not to mention, there was a phone call she received around one thirty sorry two thirty, and this number could never be proven, but the defense argued that or sorry. The prosecution argued that this phone call was by Alejandro confirming that the job was complete, because it was like a you know, like burn her phone teche number. Yeah, I mean it looks suspicious. And since they had already turned themselves in, Eva and her girlfriend were allowed to do their sentence at home during the trial, so like they were able to do house to rest during the trial because they had already been in jail for two years up to that point. They turned themselves in in twenty ten and the trials started in twenty twelve, and so finally the trial is over. The ruling determined that Alexandro didn't enter the mansion two seals, but specifically to coll media in which we already know by this point, with Eva's help, and he received a thirty five year sentence. Eva received a thirty year sentence, and Liliana, her girlfriend, was little because there was enough evidence to show that she assisted in any way. But the drama was not over. In twenty thirteen, Eva filed an appeal claiming that Arielle sabotaged her, he faked the emails between her and Alejandro. He is equally he's equally as guilty as her, And this did make some people suspicious, and in September two thirteen, she was absolved of the charges. Were like, there was no proper due process, there was a faked evidence. She needs a new trial, and so a new trial happened. Really, yes, what? And this was another long trial from twenty fourteen to twenty fifteen. By the end of everything, she was declared innocent. What. Yeah, they said that they couldn't prove she was actually the one who hired Alexandro because what about the emails that's supposedly now it wasn't It was no longer evidence they could use in court because their legitimacy couldn't be trusted. Did okay? So like they couldn't prove that it was her email address, They couldn't prove that they were real because she was claiming that her brother faked these emails. Oh I see, okay, I feel like you left that out. I just said her right now. Well yeah, but before, Oh I did leave that out before, okay, That's why I was so confused. Oh well, I said it right now. I thought that would clear it out. Okay. I feel like she only said it because I was confused. No, I just said it right. I said it right before that, okay, Okay, her brother, her brother Saba tounched her and fake the emails. To hear that. I heard that he Sab touched her, but I didn't hear that he said the emails. Well, I meant to say it right after. I didn't write it about filed an appeal claiming that ideal Subo touched her during the trial, and he faked the emails and he was equally as guilty as her. Okay, I didn't hear you say he faked the emails at that point. I didn't say it. I don't think you said it. That's why I was like, what the hell is going on? Okay, I'm meant to say it? Okay, Wow, should I start over? I mean everything clearly by now it wasn't. So, yeah, they could improve those emails were real, and that's like basically their biggest piece of evidence. I guess that makes sense. I mean, and they also could improve you know, who made that phone call or what that phone call was about thirty and that was thirty even from the other trial, right, Yes, although they were trying to make the argument they couldn't prove that, okay, right, yeah, and so yeah, the males were not real or they couldn't be proof proven. It couldn't be proven that they were real. They also said there was no motive because eventually she was going to get the money when she turned eighteen, Like it wasn't like she was never going to get the money from the will. So and how it means does she when this happened. You know, I couldn't find that information. Oh okay, I looked and looked, but yeah, I mean, I guess it doesn't make sense because you even if she had killed her mom before she turned eighteen, she could have still not been the I don't know if you would call it the executor or whatever. She couldn't have controlled the money, right because she would have been a miner anyway. Yeah, so that definitely brings to question, like the motive, although what she knows that herself, but I don't think she was that far away from turned eighteen. And that was their argument when she could yes, right right, Yeah, so yeah, in the in the end, they were like, Nope, there's no motive, there's no clear evidence to prove she was the one who hired him, and yeah she's free now, she's happily married, she's got a kid herself. Wow, but this believes the question who hired Alejandro tro and Payaso And he couldn't just say, but he kept changing the story, right, yeah, so he can credibility? Yeah, yeah, the fuck Alexandro, because yeah, in the beginning he was saying it was Eva, but then he was like, no, I didn't even get hired. I was just there to still know this, and they just kept changing his story. And there's no doubt he is the one who killed her, right because there was DNA of his yes, right, Yeah, and yeah, many people still believe that Eva is the one who hired him. Other people think it was her and Ariel together and then they turned on each other. Wow. Others believe it was her siblings. Who knows. Wow, And sadly, to this day there's still no answers. There's another theory because when they were, you know, investigating the crime scene, they found an altar that they're like, this is Santa Ria in her room? Who's in medium's room? Oh? Okay, yeah, So they found a Santadia alter in her room and this altar points to one man, the subject of the altar, because there was around So there's a picture in the middle, sort of half torn pictures in the middle of this altar of one man, her ex who also was married, and the family lawyer. Ooh what drama. Wow. Yeah, And around the altar there was flowers, half burned cigarettes. It just looked like this, I don't know, witchy, like evil, sinister thing is how it was presented. Someone sees the Santa Ria if it even was actual Santaia, right, but something resembling it in someone's room. They're like, oh my god, guilty and guilty whatever. It really was like, oh, I'm making this alter to like protect him, and that's like it was like some sort of like protection altar and they're like this was hers, Yeah, who knows? Who knows? I don't know. And so some people thought he was the one who hired Alejandro because he was trying to hide their relationship, but the lawyer maintains none of this is true. They were very close, but not romantically involved, and the police quickly discarded this theory. Okay, it's probably not true then, but then, well famous, I can't handle this, Okay. What happened next? A famous brucha named Rosita famous like TV famous okay, claims that she connected with Medium after she died, and Medium told her that it was not her kids. They were innocent and soon everything would be clear because it was someone she loved who was bald. The lawyer was bald, wow, and she loved him. Okay, but again, there's no evidence plenty to him, just this brua who said, well, Medium told me after she died, so wow. Yeah, it's been almost twenty plus years and you know, to this day, it's still not clear who prior the hit man and we may never have answers. Wow. I mean that's just sad for medium who was killed. Yeah, it's just horrible to lose your life that way. And I mean it would suck if it. I mean, obviously neither child of hers was legally found guilty or whatever, so innocent, I mean, they're not right, So it sucks that people think it was them. Like, let's say they didn't do this, because I mean, there's no fact pointing that they did this, and they're being blamed. So it's like they can't even warn their mom because people think they killed their mom. Like that's pretty shitty. Yeah. Yeah. And I don't know how old they were, but I think the brother was a little bit older and she was a little bit younger, so he might have been barely an adult and she might have been. She wasn't even eighteen, was under eighteen, yeah when she was killed, So they were young. I mean, and because you know, people kept pointing to them like not acting right after she was killed, like they didn't look sad enough. But it's like you can ever, but you can't. Yeah, and maybe they were throwing parties because drinking was the only way they could cope, you know what I mean. So you never know. But that was another thing. People were playing that at the time. And yeah, I mean that's unfortunate. I feel bad for them. Yeah, it's a hard situation and still like that, there's no answers. That's got to be like, I don't know, difficult. That's gonna take a lot of therapy to to grow accustomed to, if ever, if you ever do so. But yeah, that was the case of medium. Wow. And all right, we'll take a little break here before spooky recommendations and we're back. Do you have any speaky recommendations? Because I do, what are yours? I watched Sims. Of course I'm watching it tomorrow when this comes out, I would have already watched it. And I'm sure I loved it. I'm sure you loved it too. Was there not to love? So first I have to tell listeners about my ordeal of getting to the theater and to finally watch it. I had been scrolling TikTok all day at work instead of working. And I'm just kidding well, yeah, so that's I kept seeing videos and posts about sinners and I was like, oh, man, I feel like I need to see this in the movie theaters. And I never watch anything in the movie theaters because I mean, we never have babysitters. No one near me likes so horror movies, like my husband doesn't like them, and yeah, we're not near each other because we could just gone together, you know. And I was like, I need to watch this in the movie theater. Like what I'm hearing about it? First, Okay, it's a vampire film directed by Ryan Cookler, who I love, not just because he's from Oakland, but famously never he directed Black Panther. Yeah, famously from Oakland and directed Black Panther, but yeah, he's just never, like his movies are always so good. And I was like, vampires, I need to be there, and so yeah, I looked for a ticket to go right after work. I didn't even go home and changed. I didn't go home to change, I mean, and I decided to go to the mall because I have a discount at the AMC Theaters, not Regal, which was like five minutes from my work. So I went to the mall and after hours, you can only go to the movie theaters or this like arcade thing they have at the mall. So there's only one entrance that you can one entrance down and exit. But at the time I arrived eight thirty, there was still another entrance open, and I went. I barked it the wrong one, and I was like, noah, I don't feel like going around. I'm sure I can still come out this way. I couldn't, so I went in the wrong fucking entrance and so whatever. Then I got my popcorn and my soda. And then when I was walking out to my seat, I tripped and I lost half my popcorn. Oh my god, Yeah, I tripped and I was like, oh fuck. Oh Like there was like some people like sitting right where I fell, and I was like, oh my god, oh wow. Scene. So yeah, then you can got up. We went to my seat and the rest of the movie was fine from there, no crazy events from them, and yeah, the movie amazing. Again, I don't want to give any spoilers to you or anyone else, but like the music, the music was amazing. I laughed, I cried, I gasped, man, like, seriously, is such a good movie. Yeah, you will not be disappointed, and you could like because it's like it's also like a historical fiction, I mean, and the historical elements of historical fiction, and then combine it with something spooky. It's amazing. It's like if vampires have been Northea was turned into a movie, but way better and obviously not Mexican because this is a black movie, which is great. Because also there's this fucking guy on TikTok. He's always yelling. I can't stand him. I don't want to say his name. He's facing a lot of heat right now because his ass. And there's always one motherfucker who's like, wait about the latinos, Oh no, yeah, And you don't need to do that with this movie. It wasn't necessary. So there's another movie called From Dust Till Dawn. It was uh it has Sank and George Queen and oh god, what's so about this energy? All the movie? Sinners? God, and I can't stand why are you yelling at me? But he came out with this video and he's basically saying that sinners. Ryan cooglly owes a thank you, needs to give flowers to the Latin American community for helping him inspire his movie because from dust till Don Latino movie. Yeah, but dust Till Don is not a Latino movie. And he's saying that the whole movie Sinners is just like from dust Till Dawn, which it's not not at all. Yeah, and that Ryan to like think which ran quickly already said his inspirations for the movie, and he did name from Dusk Go Down, So like, how can you be so wrong and so loud? Well, also, Dusk a Don is now a Latino movie, so I would Ryan quigli oh Latinos a thank you for this, like it's his dad's ridiculous. Yeah, and then he was like where are the Latinos in that movie? And it's like stop being like fucking Gina Torres and John Asimo, Like you had to ask that, just don't just don't like there's no thing that don't say it out loud. Also, you're stupid and wrong and dumb, but a sad movie. Didn't watch the Hot Cheeto movie? Now, didn't they watch like Blue Beetle or I don't know. No, he's just complaining to complain about nothing, and so he's getting chew to the fuck up and social media people are going at him rightfully, so interesting, so he always has bat takes. But Sinners super good movie, even though it doesn't have any lating, like we don't need to be in everything. We really don't. I don't care the movie. We weren't missing from it. We're not in everything, but we're not supposed to be in this movie. Okay, yeah exactly, but it has like the chalk Dot tribe it has and yeah, it's so good Irish, Oh my god, Okay, do you remember Cook from Skins. He's in it. Yes, Oh my god, I'm excited, okay because I'm gonna go watch it with our friend Amparo and she's also into Skins. Yeah, yes, yes, yes so and he honestly was one of my favorite and Skins from that generation of Skins. He was also in my favorites, yeah, because I liked him and the other guy, the main guy I forgot the same already and Skins, but that was from the first generation of Skins. Yeah yeah, so yeah, he's in it, and just like, wait till you see it, highly recommend it. It's so good. I want to watch it again, but I'm like, no, wait till it's out to get it and watch it again. But yeah, that is my recommendation. It's it's seriously best movie. It's like my favorite vampire movie of all time. Now, so wow, wow, Yeah, I don't really have a spectu recommendation. I finally watched Wicked though, and wow, I read Wicked when I was too young, so I don't remember anything about Wicked. And also I heard the movie and musical are way different than the book. And I've actually heard the musical it's better than the book, and that in the movie famously is based on the musical, not on the book. Okay, And I finally I understood, like I I got all the videos and all the memes about Wicked because I just knew, you know, from inside, like I always felt Wicked. It was my soul and so I didn't need to watch the movie to understand. Also, I watched a bunch of videos like the timelines that comparing in the Land of Bass timeline to the Wicked timeline. And I had a blast on Wicked Talk. And now that I watched it, I just feel even more like, Okay, I'm glad I finally watched it. I want to be back on Wicked Talk. I don't know if people are still making Wicked content because I don't know what to watch it. Yeah, I know it's months old, but the second one's going to come out like next year, I think, so I'm sure i'll be back on Wicked Talk then. But it was truly amazing. I mean, I don't even think there are words that can describe. I had to watch it, but you know what I have to watch first? What Conclave? Because it's happened right, No, my god. Conclave was also so the rest and peap piece to the Pope. Yes, rest in peace, Pope Francis. But back to Wicked, yes, of course. Okay, what I didn't remember and this can be spoilders because everybody except you have one watch Wicked Night now and I love spoilers. Right, So I didn't remember this from the books again because it was so long ago and I was like ten, and I didn't understand what was happening, like I read the words. But and in okay, Wicked Now, I'm questioning like I saw. Okay, there was one aspect of Wicked Talk I didn't understand back then, and it was people that were like criticizing I guess, like you know, more right wing leaning people that went to watch Wicked, and they didn't understand that. Man, I forgot their names already. Alphaba is the way, the Green Witch, and Ariana g Ali Eli. No, No, that's wrong. I feel like it's Glinda. Oh, he's the other way, Alphaba Elsie, for sure, you already said it. Anyway, Glinda is she's like liberal, Like if you were to put this in terms of politics, she's like a liberal. She doesn't understand that she's not like actually as good as she thinks she is. I vaguely remember this from reading it, but I thought I we read it in high school and not when we were ten. I don't know I read it again. Maybe you read it again. I'm not sure, but I remember not understanding anything about it. And anyway, and Wicked, the animals are being escapegoaded. Actually I kind of vaguely remember it. I don't like Shrek, yes, and with the fairy creatures. Yeah, And it's just like it's it's very of the moment, but it's always of the moment, right, because there's always an enemy of the hour of the time, you know, there's always a scapego And in Wicked it's the animals. And Shrek it was the fairy the fairy tale, creatures, creatures present day, it's you know, migrants. So I don't know. I think that if you watch it and didn't understand how it applies to now, I think I think your lost cosmon just kidding. Someone told me I'm too mean, So I think who who said this? Let's fall to you? Yeah? So okay, So I don't allow people by telling him that they're dumb for not understanding Wicked and applying it to today. You know what, though, I do feel like some people say you need a better approach if you want to reach people and make them understand things. And I'm just like, sorry, I can't. I'm done. I'm really I really want to, but I can't. I want to though it's there, famously, I can't. The intent is not fully there, but the wish is yes, yes, yeah, yeah. All right, Well, okay, that's enough about Wicked. All right, let's talk about Concrete and I'm just kidding. No, no, well, and this if you haven't watched Conclave, now is the time. Now was the time. Rip Pope Francis. He really was a good one, as far as you can as good as you can be in the Catholic Church famously the Jesuit branch is, like, you know, one of the better ones, very liberation theology focused, and we love liberation theology. Here was catter Metal Canadas by Pope Francis. Yes, yes, I've been learning more about Pope Francis and now and I learned that he also met with Beta Casadi. Yes, he called the last Catholic church in Gaza every night, and even as his health was failing, his call, he was making it, and he called out Trump and his first presidency. He called him out again. He you know, unfortunately met his demise after meeting with just killed fans. Yeah, yeah, JD. Vans, thanks for taking one of the good ones. It's your fault completely.
