Hello, Hello, Christina. Here, this is a bonus episode of as Boogy Tails. I had the pleasure of having Michelle, a fellow Scary FM podcaster, on the podcast. We talk about her podcast, tell Me a Ghost Story, which again I already said, but it's another scary EFM podcast. It's a lot of fun. We'll talk a little more about it in the actual episode, but it's basically just a podcast with very short ghost stories. It's a quick listen. I'm sure all of you would love it, so please check it out. And in this episode, she brings an exclusive story that she would normally plan her podcast, but we get to hear it here on this bonus episode. So when you're listening, go subscribe and follow tell Me a Ghost Story. I almost forgot to say, but you can hear my ghost story on tell Me a Ghost Story, So make sure you do that. The link is in the show notes, or just type tome a ghost Story on whatever app you're listening to right now. All right, enjoy this bonus episode. Hi, it's good to be here. Yeah, we're just randomly starting. There's no script today, nothing, you know. I love it. Yeah for it. This is this is Spooky Tells I'm Christina no Carmen today, but I do have an awesome Scary FM homie here with me today. Do you want to say hi to everyone? Hi? I'm Michelle Newman and I host tell Me a Ghost Story over on Scary FM. Yes, and it's very creepy and you have an exclusive ghost story for us. I do have an exclusive ghost story for us on the show today because I like it because the guy calls in twice. Let me just play it. Hold on, why am I even describing it? You don't get it up right into it? Okay, So let me just describe what true tell Me a Ghost Story is is people call in from all over the world, all over the country with their true scary ghost stories, and it's like a late night call in radio show. It's so fun. Last time you and Edwin were here, we talked a little bit about it because I remember we said the sexy, sexy yeah, yeah. The sexy way yeah, and that is definitely Edwin. And also when the show first started, people hated it. That was my number one comment. Now that's trickled down. I was shocked me too. I didn't know immediately. I was like, wow, this is gonna put me in the mood and also I'm gonna get scared. Like yeah, I mean that's the point, like do you want well? And I did it on purpose to just you know, you go into the scary world and then all of a sudden, the saxophone comes on. And then you're sensually brought out. Yeah, it's perfect. I think the two things go hand in hand in a terrifying way. And I agree. Anyway, So today I brought on one of my This man Phil from two Attanouga has called in a couple of times and left some great stories. So I wanted to play one of his great stories that I haven't played on my own show on this show, and he's great, So anyway, I'm just going to play that. So people call in and just leave messages and then I play them. So this is his true ghost story. I'm Phil from Chattanooga. I'm a property manager. I manage empty, vacant and foreclosed properties. And this story happened in Noble, Georgia. I was given a work order to go to a town called Lafayette, Georgia, and Noble was on the way, so I called a young man after It helps me from time to time and he was home from the Marine Corps. So I picked him up and he began to tell me a story about what happened to him the night before the accident. Before he was going to take a short cut from his house to his grandmother's house, and he had to go through the woods. And he was going through the woods and he said he got to a certain point and he stopped, and he felt like he was being watched, and then he turned around and there were these shadow figures in back of him. And as he turned around, as he turned back forward, there was some shadow figures there again. And he began to tell me that he he did a three sixty and they were all the way around him. And I asked him, I said, what part of the woods were you in and he told me he said, you remember the old Tristate Crematory of I said yeah, he said, well, that's that's in my backyard. He said, I was taking a shortcut and I was going through the old crematorium. And I said, why in the shell would you do that? Because everybody around here knows that the guy who owned that place was not cremating bodies. He was piling them up in a barn. He had over three hundred bodies that had not been cremated in his barn. And then when the FBI found out about it because of a neighbor's dog digging up a skull, the FBI, the GBI, state local, all of that police just blew up that little town of Noble and they tore everything down, They drained the pond, they took all the bodies that they could to Atlanta to try and identify him. But the county and the state that nothing can be built on that property. So everything on there was torn down, like I said, And by now everything's grown up and it's dense freeze and scrub and privet. And he was taking a shortcut through there to get to his grandmother's house, and that's what he encountered on his way. Hold on there's like a little subject. There's like he does a little caveat which one. Okay, this month must be it. My name is Phil, I'm from Chattanooga, Tennessee. Continuing the story about the crematorium. You can fact check. Uh the crematorium. It was called Prostate Crematorium, Noble, Georgia. Uh. The man who owned it name was Brent marsh Pull It up and just take a look at the chaos that was going on there. Just imagine the family secret is there's three hundred rotting, decaying bodies out in the barn. Take a look at it. Did I hear that right? Prost? No? No? I think it's broad state broad definitely broad stay. I think as opposed to prostate crematorium, which, you know, look, maybe maybe that exists. I don't know. Maybe let's see brun chat anuga. There we go. All right, let's see. Wait, it was a Noble Georgia. It took place in oh. Noble Noble. Let me go back Noble. Okay, Noble Georgia. Let's see. Is it real? Yeah? The tri state crematory scandal was a scandal of at a crematorium in the noble community in two thousand and two. Did he say it happened in to dozet two? I don't think he said the date, but he did. I mean, that's crazy. It was discovered that nearly three hundred and forty bodies that had been co signed to the crematory for proper disposition had not been cremated. Instead, they had been done that several locations in and around the crematorium site. This must be it. Yeah, that has to be it. Oh, that's definitely what he was talking about. Insane. Oh my okay. Yeah. It was founded by Tommy Marsh in the mid nineteen seventies, located in the Noble Community. Yeah, this is what he said. Oh my god, that's crazy. So during this a total of three hundred and thirty nine bodies went uncremated. Can you imagine, I like, can you imagine it just sitting like like like you said, just a bunch of bodies sitting in a barn like that, Like can you imagine the smell, the smell, the energy, Like, come on, like that's it's how how would you even stand it? Like, like why not dig a pit? Like as a financial plan or like as just a better plan. Why wouldn't you just dig a pit and throw people in the pit, Like I mean, it worked in the Middle Ages. Or why wouldn't you just do your job. Equipment? That's obviously the most easy answer, but like, also, my pit idea worked for the Middle Age. It's not bad. Yeah, thank you, it's pretty good. Yeah, yeah, I would approve that plan too. One hundred and thirteen of the three hundred thirty nine bodies remain the unidentified God. That's crazy, and that's where you get your ghosts that are like wandering around surrounding that guy who's just trying to get to his grandma's house. Poor guy, I just wanted to take a shortcut to his ground house. Oh my god, that's crazy. Isn't that nuts. That's the type of call that I get. Like, that's the type of call that I love because it's like, I have the phone line so people that aren't on the Internet and don't really know the internet that well can just call in because it's right on my art and it's just love it. Yeah, it's freaking great. I love that. But yeah, that's he called in with a couple Like the last I think three episodes I've done, I've had a call from Phil from Chattanooga. But he's like, Wow, Phil from Chatta brought he brought the goods. Man, he brought the goods. That is it is excellent. I mean, people in the South know how to tell story, so you. Know that's true. I will say always say this because it's either whenever I hear a story in Spanish or from the South, I know it's gonna be good. Oh, there's no way, it's not like oh yeah, even if it's short and it's just it's gonna be good. And it was Phil from Chat Chat good, if not disappoint he's excellent. Yeah. I hope he has more ghost stories because he always talks about like in the other stories, he's like, oh, yeah, I take care of abandoned properties, and I'm like, oh, this. Is oh he has Yeah, he has stories. This guy's got endless stories. And I honestly wouldn't picture Phil from Chattanhood doing anything else other than taking care of abandoned property. Yeah, of course he does. Of course he does. Like that's and I bet he's the best at it. I bet it's he's the best at his job. But yeah, I I don't know how that property could not be haunted. Like I don't know how that little whatever it is now just like a lot that has trees that have grown over it, or if it was already in the middle of the woods or whatever, Like, there's no way, there's no way. That's insane. Three hundred and thirty nine bodies that were not cremated, Almost half of those are over I can't do math. Almost half of those were never identified. Like, yeah, so the lesson here is don't take short cuts. From a bad business plan. It was a bad business plan, and I'm not quite sure why not just burning the bodies was better. But maybe their equipment broke. I'm just trying to like be like, what's the logic thing where they was, like, you know what's easier. Let's put the. Rocks just pile them in the barn. Yeah, let's just put them in a big rotting pile in the barn. That's way easier than if we just cremate them, like our job. Is, right, I don't understand. I don't either, Like why not if it's really broken, you can go the old fashioned way and just like do a big pire and like dump them all on it. Right, Like, might be something better. There has to be something better than the barn and just leaving them in the. Barn exactly, which I yeah, I'm I mean breeding ground for ghosts man breeding ground. Yeah, and you know that they did this for decades because that's too many like people for it to be even just a short amount of time. Right. Oh yeah, I would hate to be the young marine walking to his grandma's house. And I also picture this young marine maybe like wearing a little red riding hood cape and like having a basket and going to his grandma's house too. And he was skipping and then suddenly suddenly gets. Dark and then it's like, oh no, I'm totally surrounded by by shadow figures. Oh no, no, not again, uh not again. But yeah, I mean yeah, the show's a delight when I get like calls like that, man, there's like some weird stuff that comes up, Like it's it's interesting because like not a lot of the calls scare me anymore. I guess I'm kind of like getting a little immune to a lot of the stories. A lot of them are interesting, like that one we just did was interesting, but like the still the one and it's been a while since it came out, is this one called The Babysitter, And it like gave me chills when I heard it. Okay, I gotta go back and listen to it. It's short, it's very short, so it's like I recommend it if you like, if you're looking for an access point, either start with the first episode or The Babysitter, which is like there's something about it, man, that's just like it's very well told, and it just gives me the creeps. And I don't want to give too much away. But it's of course because we want people to go listen, which I will be for sure listening. But like I mean, if you say babysitter, I assume there are kids involved, and anytime there's kids involved, I'm already one hundred times creeped out because and they're creepy. Also, this babysitter didn't exist. Okay, that's a hyper trans worse. This reminds me. I'm reading a book right now called Incidents around the House. Have you read it? Tell me of Okay, so this is not really a spoiler because immediately it starts out like this, but like first page one's already there. But this little girl sees this creature from her closet. Oh no, that she calls other mommy. Okay, all right, I'm assuming it's not evil if it's other mommy, or is it evil mom No. It's horrifying. Yeah, it's terrible, Oh my god, it's yeah, it probably killed someone. I think. Gee, like it's bad, but not so. A babysitter that doesn't exist just makes me think of other Mommy. I'm horvide already I can't wait to listen. Yeah, it's it's it's solid, and it's short. I mean all my episodes are very short because they're like, you know, three minute call in calls, which I think is at first, Like when I started the show, I was like, oh, no, like ghost stories need is too short? Yeah? Is it too short? People need like this build up, people need reactions. But it's interesting because I don't know if all people do. I think people are kind of using it like a confessional, like people telling them telling those stories that they're like, no one's ever believed me, so I'm just gonna call in and talk about hearing noise in the ceiling or whatever, you know, like that kind of thing. So, which is great. I'm all about that. I don't know. And short scary stories have their place. I mean there's why what is it called two sentence horror stories? That's why. Yes, that's always enjoyable. Yeah, so very I mean it's good. It's you know, it doesn't have to be like this is drawn out long story because sometimes it's like, oh, the door open when we were there and we still don't know what it was. Yeah, and it's like who what wasn't. Well and then someone's built that story up the last like ten minutes. But it's like the reveal is, oh the door opened. Yeah. Sometimes short and sweet is just perfect and it's good for like a quick I don't know, I'm gonna run to the corner and. Yeah, quick scare my dog or something. Yeah? U yeah, short and scary, Yeah a quick square square, I got a quick's scared. That's what I was trying to say. Quick scare in the middle of your scary playlist is what it's for. Yeah? Perfect, ye, but uh. Yeah, your book sounds good. But what was it called again? Incidents around the House by Josh Something? I remember promo. Right, nothing would be worse. One time I was talking about such an important history topic con TikTok and I'm like, the book was my Mark something, And I'm like, oh my god, why did I pause to just look at what the book was? And I put the screen cap like of you know, the book but that I was talking about in that video. But there was so many comments about like, wow, why couldn't you just remember the book? Oh my god, I'm sorry I couldn't remember, And to this day, I still I can't tell you mark something, and it's the same thing where I'm like, Josh something. Something, Josh something. You can look it up. It's people can look it up, you know. Yeah, yeah, incidents around the house, like you know, that's important part the title. And it's creepy. It's creepy and it's not very long. But that's what that made me think of. When you said the babysitter wasn't there, I'm like, well, this is like a creature that was in the closet that was there, but like only the girl could see it, and it pretends to be her babysitter at some point. No. Oh, it sounds like a moment. Oh ooh, I hate that. I see like that type of stuff where you're like, this person's really credible and something is up. You're like what this isn't this you know, it isn't a hallucination. It's not like, uh, you know, something's just up, that's all you know. And you're like, uh, something's not right, something's not right. Yeah, it's it's pretty interesting. Uh. It's an interesting gig. And I love just being able to hear people's stories and like validate their experiences because everybody's experience is valid. Uh, you know, so it is interesting. But when when a call comes in that like I can't even like rationalize, that's like. Oh. That's extra creepy. Yeah, big time. Before we go, do you want to talk more about to me a ghost. Story, I'll tell you about tell me tell me a ghost story some more. Oh perfect, but yeah, yeah yeah. I released a new episode every Tuesday night most of the time, but most of the you know, I could get a little wiggle roomy, but most of the time Tuesday nights, I want to just do the phone number because why not. Yeah, yeah, you know, if you have a ghost story, call one seven oh one four eight four two six six six. That's right, tell me a ghost story at one seven oh one four eight four two six six six, or go to tell me a ghost story dot com and leave your message, leave your message casual, or go to tell me a ghostory dot com and leave your message on the website, which is also very easy in theory, very easy. It's very easy. It should be very easy doing it. So yeah, I mean, if Phil from Chattanooga can do it, you can do it. Yeah, he called into the phone line, so you know, that's you know, that's the easiest if you're even a little bit Internet challenged, that is that's the way to do it. The best way to do it. And there's something about Colleen a number. Yeah, and knowing that you can see my dad. My dad is literally doing yard work right now. He just came into the to the shot. Oh my I was like, oh my god, a shutout Preston. Oh my god, in a Fodora hat carrying a little dog. What's happening? Oh no, But anyway, thank you so much for having me on your show. No, thank you, thank you. And uh spookies, Yeah, go check out tell me a ghost Story. It's a lot of fun and again short and scary. It's like sometimes you don't want an hour long episode where you're scared every five seconds because there's a new thing like this is just short and sweet and scary and sometimes that's what you need. Yeah, just put it on your playlist. Yeah. I just added on there, added in between like spookytoes on Friday and then like you know, Monday comes around. Actually don't remember when any of the true scary story or horror story episodes come up, like you know, like fill you with like yes, and then I'm like, I can't remember when anything comes off. I think maybe Wednesday, Wednesday, Thursday, maybe, but I don't know remember when the show it comes out Wednesday Thursday, right, I don't remember which shows? Well, oh my gosh, so yeah, you could do Tuesday, tell me go story, Wednesday or Thursday, since we're. Not since we're not up to date on our network's actual schedule. We're pretty sure. I'm pretty sure Wednesday. Pretty sure that you can fill your feed Tuesday through Friday with scary fact. We just don't know. But if you just click that follow button, it will help you out, because, you know, because we clearly had to do that, because we just need it directly. You know, they just show up when they show and then I literally work on two of these shows, and I'm still like, oh, there it is on my feet, let me add it. Oops. But you know, we get there. And the point is is that we listen and you should listen to exactly. That is the point. All right, stay a spooky, We'll catch everyone next time. Bye bye,
