A ghost is seen near el pueblo of El Molino, in Chihuahua, Mexico. Visitors who have experienced the paranormal entity in front of them claim that she appears as a woman dressed in white. But it isn't only the residents who see her! Sometimes, even visitors who have never heard of the legend make the same claim. In this episode, I tell you the story of the legend of the Lady of the Mill and how it relates to the colonization in the 18th century by the Spanish in Mexico. Could this legend be a way to express the grief of a lost population?Find us on ParanormalClub.com and don't forget to send me your stories at edwin@paranormalclub.com
00:00:00
It's the middle of the night and you hear some footsteps going
00:00:04
along this valley and it's all dark.
00:00:06
There's also a gushing river nearby, along with those sounds
00:00:11
of the night sounds, crickets or whatever.
00:00:14
You start hearing the cries of a woman and she's in pain, she's
00:00:19
sad and she starts wondering how could this happen to me?
00:00:25
Her whole world is ending, and with one last breath, she just
00:00:30
jumps into the water and drowns herself.
00:00:33
It's over. Or is it because people around
00:00:38
that area have spoken of these images of a woman that appears
00:00:42
nearby? And this is the legend of the
00:00:45
Lady of the Mill. She's La Dama del Molino.
00:00:50
You ready? My name is Edwin and this is
00:00:54
Paranormal Club. Welcome back spookies.
00:01:04
Thank you so much for showing up and for all the messages and DMS
00:01:07
emails, all the stuff that you've been you've been emailing
00:01:10
me, sending me. It's really cool and I know that
00:01:12
has to do with the last part of my last episode and the message
00:01:15
that I I really had to get out there.
00:01:17
So I appreciate that, but we're going to keep it scary here.
00:01:20
We're going to keep it rolling, right?
00:01:22
So back in, actually, I don't remember when this came out, but
00:01:25
there was this Netflix episode that's called, I think it's
00:01:28
called the Lady of El Molino, I think, And it's it's from a show
00:01:31
called Haunted Latin America, Haunted Latino America.
00:01:35
I think that might be the the episode name.
00:01:38
And if you're into all this paranormal, spooky, all this
00:01:41
creepy content, you've probably heard of it already Haunted.
00:01:44
Look it up. It's on Netflix.
00:01:46
Netflix, by the way, is on the news recently because it's doing
00:01:49
a whole thing, right? It's dominating.
00:01:51
I don't know if I don't think that's a good thing, but hey,
00:01:53
that's a whole other topic. Anyway, I spot like I, I watched
00:01:57
this a long time ago and then it came up again because the legend
00:02:01
somehow showed up in one of my searches and I found it really
00:02:05
interesting stuff like, hey, I think I've seen this before.
00:02:08
So I rewatched the Netflix episode.
00:02:10
It's very interesting. It's cool, but it's like it
00:02:13
barely taps into the into this legend, which is pretty
00:02:17
interesting. It's an interesting thing.
00:02:19
So I'll tell you a little bit about the episode itself.
00:02:22
If we've seen it already, let's talk about it.
00:02:24
I'll tell you the background of the legend, the legend itself,
00:02:27
and then kind of what it means and what I think it means
00:02:30
because it's really, really eerie.
00:02:31
So for those of you who may not know about the haunted series
00:02:36
that's on Netflix, the setting is basically, it's a little
00:02:39
awkward, right? Because people are walking into
00:02:41
this room, they sit down and then the person is like
00:02:46
confessing to family members, friends, Co workers, a group of
00:02:50
maybe like 4 people, something about their paranormal
00:02:54
experience. I mean, it sounds kind of like
00:02:57
they're let's take a therapy session.
00:02:59
But really they start off with, I wanted to tell you about one
00:03:02
of the scariest experiences of my life.
00:03:04
And it's really eerie, right? The way that it comes out.
00:03:07
So how it all started and how, how it kind of rolls is there's
00:03:12
this person, his name is Rodrigo.
00:03:13
And he's up and he's talking to, I guess his wife, a Co worker,
00:03:20
somebody who works with him. He's a police officer and
00:03:22
someone else, but I can't remember exactly who it is.
00:03:27
And as he's explaining the the story, he starts off with
00:03:32
basically he's a he's I don't know, in in elementary school.
00:03:37
And he's in his room and he hears Rodrigo, Rodrigo, right,
00:03:43
come in like from a voice. And he's like, well, that's
00:03:46
weird. So he heads like he goes to the
00:03:49
kitchen and he he's like, like, ma, did you call me?
00:03:53
And she's like, no, I didn't. And they're like, well, that's
00:03:59
weird, right? The way they, they dramatize the
00:04:01
whole thing is a little awkward. But as they're talking, this
00:04:05
Bible flies off the shelf and like breaks open.
00:04:09
I don't know if you've ever broken a book, but like you open
00:04:10
it too hard and like like splits, like the, the spine of
00:04:15
it breaks and they get freaked out.
00:04:19
They're like, like, what's going on?
00:04:23
So they start, they get on their knees and they start praying.
00:04:25
I mean, it's kind of like a Mexican thing, right, to start
00:04:28
praying when something like this happens and they kind of calm
00:04:32
down, goes away. Then the scene goes into when he
00:04:36
was 15 and he's along his path and he, it's like around the
00:04:41
mill, like the, the metal mill is it used to be like a, a, an
00:04:44
old Meadow mill. And the name is kind of stuck.
00:04:47
So there's this path, a running path, and he's running along.
00:04:51
And as he's going, he turns to the left and he sees this woman
00:04:55
stand like in a in a white kind of gown.
00:04:59
It's old. And she jumps and he's like,
00:05:04
what? Like what was that?
00:05:06
Still, though, the thing says his name.
00:05:09
It's kind of freaking out, right?
00:05:11
He keeps going and and I mean, that's what he remembers from
00:05:15
from that period. Then the next time that he
00:05:18
encounters something strange like that, he's actually with a
00:05:20
friend. He says his friend.
00:05:22
But really the the dramatized version of it, it's like this
00:05:25
girl who's like Rodrigo, what's wrong with you?
00:05:29
And he's kind of like kind of dozing off behind the wheel and
00:05:34
is a Rodrigo, but it's kind of like a like they went on a date
00:05:38
or something. And as he's driving along, he
00:05:40
sees his woman on the side of the road and he's like, and he's
00:05:45
like, yeah, I must have imagined it, right?
00:05:47
So he keeps driving. And then I don't know why they
00:05:50
made this, but like in in the Netflix thing is like she's
00:05:54
trying to kiss him or whatever. And then he looks in the river
00:05:57
mirror and sees the lady like this pale, wide eyed, wide mouth
00:06:04
woman just about to scream. The the others, the the lady,
00:06:09
the the girl that's in the car turns around.
00:06:12
He's like, whoa, keep Paso Rodrigo, like all.
00:06:15
They try to make it all northern, like N Mexico.
00:06:18
And then she kind of looks back and she's like they scream.
00:06:21
He stops the car. They come out.
00:06:23
And later on he says that he asked the the the girl, like,
00:06:27
did you see that? He's like, yeah.
00:06:28
And they describe him exactly, exactly the same.
00:06:31
That was like his third encounter, right?
00:06:32
Or at least the third one that he mentions there.
00:06:34
There must have been more. And then he gets really eerie
00:06:39
because he's now, you know, it's 2018 and he's working along like
00:06:44
he's a police officer now and he's patrolling like the way
00:06:47
that, you know, they patrol in in trucks.
00:06:50
There is you have a driver the the person in the passenger seat
00:06:53
and you have somebody in the back of the truck kind of
00:06:55
guarding the other two, right, with a gun and everything.
00:06:59
And as he's going along, he hears his voice is warning him
00:07:04
like, careful, just people up ahead, like you're going to get
00:07:09
attacked or want to pull out your gun.
00:07:13
So he does that. He's like, that's weird.
00:07:14
But he still can't see anything as he's moving, as they're
00:07:18
moving along, he's like behind you.
00:07:20
And then he looks behind you and, and behind him.
00:07:23
And there are people like trying to, you know, they block, they
00:07:25
cut off the, the police truck and they ambush them basically.
00:07:30
And then the whole thing starts going right.
00:07:32
There's like a shootout like boom, boom, boom, boom.
00:07:34
And finally, like there's this, there's this guy that happens to
00:07:38
run behind with a gun and he hears the voice like the Rodrigo
00:07:42
hears the voice again that says, Hey, like duck, like don't move
00:07:46
or get your get your firearm or giving him instructions on what
00:07:50
to do. And he says in, in the, in the
00:07:52
episode, he's like, I felt like I was just all just kind of
00:07:55
following orders, right. And at one point, like they
00:07:58
shoot at him and they tell like the voice tells him like, and he
00:08:02
kind of sees the woman, he kind of feels the woman there tells
00:08:05
him like duck. And he goes down and he's like,
00:08:07
don't move and he doesn't move. And then he's alive.
00:08:11
But then he when he goes out, he turns out that the, the driver
00:08:14
police officer is dead. Now when they look back at the
00:08:19
footage of, of the incident, they said, there's no way that
00:08:22
you survived that. Like you were directly in the
00:08:24
line of, of like the bullet. But he survives and he, he gives
00:08:28
a credit to the entity. Basically, This is why he's
00:08:32
alive very stuff to think about, right, because he was scared of
00:08:35
it at 1st and then it's this other it's saved his life
00:08:40
basically, right. So thinking about the whole
00:08:45
legend of the lady of El Molino, right, the the lady of the mill,
00:08:50
there's this other experience that Rodrigo mentions, and this
00:08:52
one is more about, you know, he's patrolling this area.
00:08:55
He's at guarding this area where they're they have this event and
00:08:58
it's like this old SCN that this old place where it they have
00:09:03
this like kind of abandoned building.
00:09:05
And he looks up towards the window and there's the woman
00:09:09
there, the same ghost woman, pale white dress, just looking
00:09:14
at him. He asks like, hey, like he calls
00:09:19
his part of his, the other people that are also build their
00:09:22
guards and he's like, Hey, I see this and they're like, there
00:09:25
shouldn't be anyone there. You know, that place is locked
00:09:29
up. There's it's abandoned, there's
00:09:30
no one there. Then the lady vanishes and he
00:09:32
sees the lady vanish, like turn to vapor and complete disappear.
00:09:36
So I mean, it's to think about something like that happening to
00:09:42
him is like this balance of like creepiness.
00:09:46
And then also it saved his life. So what's the deal?
00:09:50
Thinking that a ghost can save your life is not an uncommon
00:09:53
story, right? It's not an uncommon thing that
00:09:56
something that doesn't happen, but as he as he ends of the the
00:10:02
episode, he says that he's probably alive because of the
00:10:06
ghost. But still anyway, back back to
00:10:09
the whole the whole lady of the mill thing, right?
00:10:13
She only appears in that very first part when he says, I
00:10:15
believe I saw the lady of the mill and then all these other
00:10:18
times it was some other ghost. So I'm thinking, is this a story
00:10:23
of the Lady of the Mill? Because they don't mention
00:10:25
anything else about it. Well, actually, they do tell the
00:10:27
legend, which is what I'm going to get into.
00:10:30
And it's really cool. It turns out basically there was
00:10:35
this, there was this lady, right?
00:10:39
She was part of the this indigenous tribe, Los Conchos.
00:10:42
And they're living in the, it's the 18th century and they're
00:10:45
around that area of Enmolino, which is tiny, right?
00:10:50
The thing is that they are at the time they're being
00:10:54
colonized, right? So there's, let me just tell
00:10:58
you, the cast here, I guess, right, you have Margarita and
00:11:02
Margarita is in love, this guy named Marcos.
00:11:05
And you know, they're they're getting, they have plans
00:11:09
together. They're young and they're
00:11:11
excited to be together and everything.
00:11:13
But there's this soldier, a Spanish soldier, Rogelio, who is
00:11:20
also into Margarita, so might keep saying no, like, what's the
00:11:25
deal? I'm with Marco's like, what are
00:11:27
you even talking about? But he he doesn't want to take
00:11:31
no for an answer. He's like, no, I want to be with
00:11:35
you, you know, And he he does his best like as in tries to
00:11:40
come up with all these things to try to get her to to be with
00:11:43
him. And she's like, you know, so he
00:11:45
goes with, you know what, I'm going to take Marco's out for an
00:11:48
expedition. Now back then, the Spanish are
00:11:51
out doing, you know, scouting for stars, trying to find things
00:11:55
and places to take advantage of. And they need the indigenous
00:11:59
people there, the tribes to help out because they know the area,
00:12:02
they know the terrain and they're like, have you seen
00:12:03
gold? Have you seen this shiny thing?
00:12:06
And they need each other pretty much because, I mean, I guess
00:12:09
the, the indigenous people do not need the Spanish there,
00:12:12
right? Because they were perfectly fine
00:12:13
without them. But the Spanish do need them and
00:12:16
they have power because they have guns and they have, they
00:12:19
take control basically of everything.
00:12:21
They're also influencing religion, reading all these
00:12:24
other things. So they go out into the
00:12:26
expedition, but when they're coming back, Margarita's
00:12:29
waiting, right? She's like, where's Marco's?
00:12:32
Rogelio's like, you know what? Sadly, he didn't make it.
00:12:36
We got into an accident and he died.
00:12:41
Margarita's obviously devastated, right?
00:12:43
She's like kind of suspicious though.
00:12:47
Pretty sauce that that's going on.
00:12:50
Did I use that word? Right?
00:12:51
I don't know. That's pretty suspicious, right.
00:12:54
And they Margarita decides to like, you know, honour him and
00:13:01
not go with Rogelio. Like what the heck?
00:13:03
Like why would by the way, you know why her name's Margaritas
00:13:06
'cause she, I mean, though she's indigenous, she she got the
00:13:09
Christian name because of colonization.
00:13:13
But anyway, she's kind of she, I mean, obviously she's upset, but
00:13:16
also she's like, I'm going to honour him by not being with
00:13:19
this guy, right? But Rogeo is not getting it.
00:13:21
He's not getting it. So when he sees the opportunity
00:13:24
to be with her, he her. And it's, I mean, you know, the
00:13:31
whole it's bad. Marilita is so sad, ashamed of
00:13:36
what happened, that she goes up to the river and drowns herself.
00:13:43
It's, you know, it wasn't even her fault, but she was so
00:13:50
ashamed that she did that. And that story itself is what
00:13:55
spread like, you know, the folklore of that area.
00:13:59
It's what stayed alive. But along with that, people now,
00:14:03
when they walk around or drive around those those roads, they
00:14:09
say that they see this woman standing on the side of the road
00:14:13
wearing this white gown. Now, some people might claim
00:14:17
that, oh, you know, she has to be picked up, taken somewhere.
00:14:20
Others people say, other people say that they just see her
00:14:22
jumping into the river. Other people claim that, you
00:14:26
know, she just shows up, vanishes and that's it.
00:14:29
But still, these stories are common from the residents,
00:14:33
visitors, people who just have no idea of the legend.
00:14:37
And they happen to be around there and they tell somebody and
00:14:41
they're like, Oh yeah, I saw her.
00:14:43
So that's, that's the, that's the story of, of the, the lady
00:14:47
of the mill. Now, why I say that this thing
00:14:50
has this historical thing behind it.
00:14:54
And it's because it's an allegory kind of thing, right?
00:14:57
The Leon has a similar thing, which an allegory, by the way,
00:15:02
which I, I mean, I'm not sure of the actual definition of it.
00:15:06
My social studies teacher should forgive me for that 'cause I
00:15:08
don't remember. Basically the, the idea of of,
00:15:13
you know, what happened with the Lady of the Mill is that the
00:15:16
Spanish had taken advantage of the women.
00:15:19
They had also taken advantage of everything that they, that they
00:15:21
had. So it also symbolizes the
00:15:24
vanishing of Los Conchos, the tribe that was around there.
00:15:28
You know, a lot of Mexican history, a lot of that when you
00:15:32
look at the social studies books and then all these stories of
00:15:37
individual regions, you start seeing the vanishing of people.
00:15:41
But people didn't really vanish. It didn't really disappear kind
00:15:44
of merge into the other tribes. They kind of lost their
00:15:48
identity, their cultural identity of of what made them
00:15:51
them. And it was part of the whole
00:15:53
mestizo thing where like they fell victim to it.
00:15:56
Mestizacion, what's it called? Or, or the mestizo is basically
00:16:00
the mix. Like if you're a child of a
00:16:02
Spanish and an indigenous, indigenous person, you are
00:16:05
mestizo and you're kind of disappearing into that.
00:16:10
And are you losing your language, you're losing your
00:16:12
food recipes, you're losing all these other things.
00:16:14
So the story of it goes along with it with, with what actually
00:16:19
happened with colonization, right?
00:16:21
You have people who are disappearing violence.
00:16:25
You have the death of a whole culture symbolized by this
00:16:29
woman, the death of this woman. So that's the story of the of
00:16:34
the the lady of the mill. Now there are a lot of other
00:16:37
things too that that happened along those times.
00:16:39
Like there was this one thing about actually nowadays, if you
00:16:43
look back, there's a thing called lumbres that you see
00:16:47
along the the actual mountains of there.
00:16:51
People claim to see lights and vapor suddenly appear and then
00:16:56
vanish out in the mountains. And they attributed to the same
00:16:59
thing. You know, there's a lot of
00:17:00
things that happened along the the metal mill back in the day.
00:17:05
Things were people got seriously hurt and killed.
00:17:08
So that's the story of of all that, you know, along the lines
00:17:15
of this legend. There's also the story of
00:17:17
Laerona, who that has kind of a similar thing.
00:17:20
And I hadn't really thought of it until I was given this book
00:17:22
on the history of Mexico City and kind of the dark history of
00:17:26
it. And I learned about Laerona.
00:17:28
And it's Laerona, by the way, the weeping woman that kind of
00:17:32
goes along with the same theme where it's supposed to symbolize
00:17:37
a country or a, a people, I guess a people.
00:17:40
Is that what you would call it? A group of people population
00:17:43
mourning the death of its entire identity because of the
00:17:49
colonization efforts, I guess. And when we think about that it,
00:17:54
it's really, it's really hard to to not hate on the Spanish,
00:18:00
right? Because it's like, why'd you do
00:18:03
that? But then the US does this, all
00:18:06
these other countries do this and they have done this, right?
00:18:10
The French like, and you think back on it and you're like, all
00:18:15
these other cultures also have their own legends.
00:18:17
And they're all can kind of be tied back to this.
00:18:20
So are these legends true like that?
00:18:23
This woman actually, the Margarita actually exist.
00:18:26
We don't know. I mean, there's some truth to
00:18:29
it, but also some of the the ways that the stories get framed
00:18:33
tie into some of the movements and some of the actions that
00:18:36
were taking place at the time. Now, you don't know what's no
00:18:38
different. And like that, I'm sure there
00:18:40
are many, many, many more stories just like it.
00:18:43
So if you know of any, please, please, please send them my way.
00:18:49
All right, And now it is time for some comments.
00:18:53
Let's see. Oh, by the way, I replied to a
00:18:55
lot of these already, right? But let's just give them a
00:18:56
mention here on the on the show. Anna Garcia says I've been
00:19:01
waiting on a new episode and this one was absolutely worth
00:19:03
it. Love all your episodes,
00:19:04
including from scary story. You were top 2 on my Spotify
00:19:07
rapped. Can't wait for the next episode
00:19:09
to keep it scary. Keep it scary, Alana.
00:19:11
Thank you. Thank Iliana.
00:19:12
Sorry. Keep it scary.
00:19:15
This is also like the the Spotify rats.
00:19:17
The thing we haven't talked about.
00:19:20
If I'm on the list or if any of the shows on the list, please
00:19:22
tag me. Tag me at Edwin Cove, EDWINCOV
00:19:27
or scary pot. If you're over on Instagram, tag
00:19:30
me, tag me. This is it's seriously really,
00:19:33
really cool because by the way, Spotify wrapped isn't like a
00:19:35
minor thing if you listen on Spotify because it means that
00:19:41
you we were the top listens show for you.
00:19:45
And I don't know, but I think that's it's super cool as an
00:19:49
honor, you know, to just land on a list like that and especially
00:19:53
on your list. So I appreciate that and I'm
00:19:57
glad you like scary stories. Scary stories.
00:19:58
Actually, I'm writing some stories again for for for the
00:20:01
show. I mean, keep it going like that
00:20:03
because, man, the whole schedule thing really, really fell apart.
00:20:08
But thank you. Thank you for that.
00:20:12
You know, says I never miss a show.
00:20:14
I enjoy listening when I'm at work, driving or eating.
00:20:17
How do you listen? For me, I listen to podcasts
00:20:21
when I am actually like washing dishes or.
00:20:28
Driving, I'm not driving, driving.
00:20:30
I don't really listen to anything.
00:20:31
I think I listen to yeah, well eating I watch.
00:20:34
I'm not currently watching a show re watching.
00:20:36
Well, I haven't watched it yet, but a lot of people, everybody
00:20:38
has Betty Lafaye and Betty Lafaye, which is a show, a
00:20:45
Colombian show. It's it's ugly Betty, basically
00:20:47
the original 1 and watching that I have never seen.
00:20:52
It's super cool. If you if you know about it, if
00:20:54
you're a fan of it, let me know. Let me know, but cool, thanks a
00:20:57
lot for for listening. Coming from Liz says just FYI,
00:21:01
the song about demonic possession that started playing
00:21:03
is monster by skillet is actually a Christian band.
00:21:06
So it's not that out of the ordinary to start playing with
00:21:09
other Christian music. And that's true.
00:21:12
Thanks a lot, Liz. Like, like I got that like we
00:21:15
had a couple comments about that and I was like, Oh, well, it
00:21:18
makes sense that because the song you can see them the video,
00:21:20
by the way, we're talking here about Richard's story, the
00:21:23
Melabelle story, where the claim here was that the a song about
00:21:29
demonic possession starts out of nowhere.
00:21:33
But what I hear is a song ends and this one starts right.
00:21:37
That's kind of what we got. Thanks for that, Liz.
00:21:39
Here we go. Jorge says the song Changing My
00:21:42
Monster by skillet was definitely creepy.
00:21:44
But in fun fact, Skill is actually Christian rock band.
00:21:47
I love the podcast. Been thinking about sending you
00:21:49
one of my stories involving La Santa Muerte.
00:21:51
Send one in. Thanks a lot for the note.
00:21:53
Also, by the way, Jordan, but please send one in, send, send
00:21:56
it in, send it in. I don't know a lot about the
00:21:59
something with it. And I'm actually researching a
00:22:01
lot of all this stuff recently. Like it's, I'm very new to it
00:22:05
and it's it's not it's creepy, but it's also very deep.
00:22:11
It's a it has deep roots, like it's deeply rooted in culture
00:22:15
and a lot of people know about it.
00:22:16
So if you happen to know, please, please send, send in
00:22:20
that story. Leather and Lace says you need
00:22:22
to open every single door inside and out.
00:22:24
All this about how to clean, how to clean your cleanse your
00:22:27
house, not clean, cleanse I guess of evil spirits and all
00:22:31
that. You need to open every single
00:22:32
door inside and outside the house, closets, cabinets,
00:22:35
drawers, house doors, garage doors, etcetera and every single
00:22:38
window. You want to have zero places the
00:22:41
negative things can go and hide and afterward leave them open
00:22:43
for at least 10 minutes. That way you make sure that it
00:22:46
all leaves also make sure that the smoke in every oh that to
00:22:50
smoke every single teeny tiny nook and cranny that's
00:22:56
difficult. Imagine like it hides in between
00:22:59
like the cushion of a couch or something.
00:23:03
What kind of tiny little demon? Oh man, tiny little demon.
00:23:10
Sorry, I don't know why I imagine the tiny little anyway
00:23:14
these from Canada says I didn't know about your friend Edwin.
00:23:17
I'm really sorry you and you're so right.
00:23:19
Keeping in touch with friends through life is a priority.
00:23:21
Thanks for the reminder by the way.
00:23:23
I loved hearing the story again on this episode.
00:23:25
The first time hearing it on true scary story was terrifying.
00:23:28
Thanks a lot Dee. This is about the message at the
00:23:31
end of of the episode about my friend, the passing of my
00:23:33
friend. So thank you for that Dee.
00:23:37
AFM Cosmo says I said my thoughts and prayers to you and
00:23:39
your friends family. Stay strong my friend.
00:23:41
Thank you. Thank you for that.
00:23:44
I mean, I said this to a couple of commenters.
00:23:46
I appreciate you guys. Seriously.
00:23:47
It's cool. But yeah, I was really tough on
00:23:50
the family. Really, really tough on them.
00:23:53
It's sad to see, you know, at at the at a funeral to see older
00:23:59
family members burying a younger person.
00:24:01
I don't know, there's something something really hard about
00:24:05
that. Really, really tough because
00:24:09
everyone else was older. We even saw his grandpa there.
00:24:12
So imagine that my as the bomb says, my tribe uses cedar to
00:24:17
smoke at our houses or anything bought or given to a second
00:24:20
hand. This is this worried me.
00:24:24
This comment worried me because I'm not that I like antiques a
00:24:28
lot, right? But the doll, you know, the doll
00:24:30
is always like in the recording somehow.
00:24:32
No, I guess not recently, but like I have this doll that's 100
00:24:35
years old and I bought it because nobody else wanted it
00:24:38
and they gave me this Steve discount and she's actually in
00:24:43
the cover of the podcast. She it's, it's in the cover of
00:24:49
the podcast. And I think like we never did
00:24:52
anything to cleanse it in case there's something up with it.
00:24:55
But there's no, I don't feel a bad vibe of it at all.
00:24:58
But the other doll, the one that we did for scary mystery
00:25:01
surprise of the podcast that I at least I have with Michelle,
00:25:04
the one that she picked out. That one gives me bad vibes.
00:25:08
I don't I don't know if it's bad or it's just the eerie vibes.
00:25:12
She said she was going to get an evil one, but I don't know.
00:25:16
That was for an episode where she was supposed to get this
00:25:20
this haunted doll and that would see what happens and actually
00:25:24
stuff did happen. I might, I might.
00:25:26
I think I already talked about it in in an episode.
00:25:30
Adriana says thank you for another great episode.
00:25:32
Oh, by the way, thank you. Thank you my as the mom for the
00:25:34
for the comment. Adriana says thank you for
00:25:37
another great episode. I think I'll listen to all
00:25:39
platforms Richard shared a story on but I enjoy yours the best
00:25:42
here on truth scary stories. My condolences.
00:25:45
Staying strong through hard times can be trying, but here
00:25:48
you are and we appreciate you sending a big hug.
00:25:51
Thank you for that Adriana. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
00:25:55
And yeah, actually Richard from the previous episode on
00:25:58
Malabell, the Malabell the haunting story, the the demonic
00:26:02
haunting. Richard did go to a bunch of
00:26:05
podcast to share a story. So let me know if you went in
00:26:10
and listened to him just like Adriana did.
00:26:13
Really cool. Thank you for that.
00:26:15
OK. He says.
00:26:15
Hi everyone. Missed you on this podcast.
00:26:17
I'm so sorry to hear about your loss.
00:26:18
McConnell says thank you for coming back.
00:26:20
You're truly missed. Thank you, Kaylee.
00:26:22
Thank you. Thank you so much for for the
00:26:23
comment. I'm glad you're still around
00:26:25
here. This is super cool.
00:26:27
Mr. Beal says I can honestly stay strong and faith and and
00:26:30
and heart my good man Thank you. Thank you for that.
00:26:35
Also bad business as I can. Honestly bro, glad to hear your
00:26:37
back. Kristen says yes, when you sage,
00:26:40
when you clear a house, I think when you sage it's called clear
00:26:44
a house. OK, so when you clear a house,
00:26:46
you leave a window open for the entity spirit to leave or be
00:26:49
pushed out. If done right, you can make the
00:26:52
situation. Oh, if not done right, you can
00:26:55
make the situation worse than before.
00:26:57
That's what I'm afraid of. And I have sage, I have a stick
00:27:00
of it and I've never tried it. I don't know.
00:27:03
It shouldn't be a bad thing, but kind of scared.
00:27:07
Comment from Grace Galvez, 83, says.
00:27:09
I was wondering about you loli. Haven't been on IG Instagram.
00:27:13
Hope all is well. I believe the stories my
00:27:16
apartment is haunted or something follows me.
00:27:18
The most recent was someone screaming in my ear.
00:27:21
Anyway, glad you're back and listen to all your shows too,
00:27:24
and a little heart and then followed up with, Oh, I just
00:27:28
heard about the you know, what happened and and everything.
00:27:32
Thanks a lot grace for for that. I appreciate that.
00:27:35
And hello, someone screaming in your ear like I don't know why,
00:27:39
but I read it all like nonchalant, like, oh, someone
00:27:41
screaming in my ear. That's creepy.
00:27:43
And I, I think it commented there that I used to hear my
00:27:45
name being called. So pretty eerie.
00:27:49
Thanks for that. Stevie says, I've been waiting
00:27:52
for this. Let's go.
00:27:52
That's how I feel. Like let's go.
00:27:54
Like, you know, like whenever we're going to record something.
00:27:57
But that's it. That's all I got for the
00:27:59
comments. Cool.
00:28:01
All right, so for our other episode, the stories that are
00:28:06
submitted by you, please send them in.
00:28:08
There's no specific category. Now we're kind of blending in
00:28:10
all the stories that we have. I'm still looking for some of
00:28:13
the pregnancy stories and more work stories, but any kind of
00:28:17
stories will really do because we're looking for some of some
00:28:21
some I was trying to get a thing about like around the holidays,
00:28:24
some stories about Christmas, Thanksgiving, end of the year
00:28:28
celebrations, New Year's, something like that.
00:28:31
Because believe it or not, winter is supposed to be for
00:28:34
scary stories like these were the times where the, the, the
00:28:38
days were shorter, nights are longer, like the night time.
00:28:42
The darkness is literally the dark times or winter.
00:28:48
So people used to gather around around the campfire, around the
00:28:52
chimney and tell stories. So I need to hear some stories.
00:28:56
I'm getting really excited when I think of of stories like this.
00:28:58
Even if they have nothing to do with Christmas or anything like
00:29:01
that, they still get shared around this time.
00:29:05
So send them in, send any story that you have and I'll, I'll
00:29:09
read them on here. To send in your story, you can
00:29:12
go to paranormalclub.com, fill out the form on there, just like
00:29:17
the message. Just type it, type it out.
00:29:20
Or if you want to just kind of send a comment ID or something
00:29:23
that you can also use that same form.
00:29:25
I can also e-mail me if that's easier for you, Edwin at
00:29:28
scarystory.com. And that e-mail goes straight to
00:29:31
me. I reply, I add it to the list.
00:29:35
If it fits the show, I'll read it on here.
00:29:37
If it's like way out, like way off or like if it's some other
00:29:42
show better, you might actually get a request to see if you want
00:29:45
to tell the story on True Scary Story.
00:29:48
Or it might just get shared on social media.
00:29:49
Either way, we'll find a way to make it fit somewhere.
00:29:52
So yeah, that's how you can submit your story.
00:29:55
That's all. That's all I got.
00:29:57
Thank you so much. Thank you so much for your
00:29:58
comments and everything. I appreciate you coming back and
00:30:02
I'll see you next time. Thank you so much.
00:30:04
Thank you very much for listening or watching.
00:30:06
It's scary everyone. See you soon.
