Unseen Forces (Listener Submissions #5)

Unseen Forces (Listener Submissions #5)

00:00:00
Back when I was 8 years old, we moved into my childhood home and

00:00:04
passed the driveway on the side of the house in the backyard, I

00:00:07
found this ball. I remember we were cleaning up

00:00:09
the house for some reason, like on the outside.

00:00:12
And this ball, imagine like a hacky sack, like it was kind of

00:00:15
small and it was red. I told my dad, like, I found

00:00:20
this, like, this is really weird.

00:00:21
And he looked at it and he's like, yeah, that is weird.

00:00:24
So grabbed it, pinched it a little bit, and then he put it

00:00:27
on the ground. What I could see once he pinched

00:00:32
through it when he pierced that was that that texture, like the

00:00:36
outer texture was kind of like that of a balloon.

00:00:38
Imagine that like rubbery. And on the inside, I want you to

00:00:43
imagine some like dried Rice Krispies, like that dried rice.

00:00:48
Or if it helps, imagine some dried up maggots.

00:00:52
That's what it looked like. So my dad grabbed the lighter

00:00:56
and he lit it on fire right there on the ground, like on the

00:00:58
dirt. And I watched as the edges of it

00:01:01
were burning off slowly, like burning and disappearing.

00:01:05
And then the white worm things were like twisting and burning

00:01:10
off. I don't know if you've ever been

00:01:11
like if you've ever seen that fire that kind of disappears the

00:01:15
material. This is what it looked like once

00:01:18
it worked through all those things.

00:01:20
On the very middle of that, that little ball, once the rice burnt

00:01:24
off, there was this other little item.

00:01:27
That thing was also wrapped in red and that started burning,

00:01:32
but not completely. My dad picked that thing up and

00:01:37
it turned out to be an old coin. He just kind of put the coin

00:01:45
away. I didn't even think about it for

00:01:48
years, and I'm saying years like no idea what this was, Just kind

00:01:53
of let it go. Fast forward to today and I'm

00:01:57
listening to stories all the time about witchcraft and about

00:02:01
trabajos. Works that are done on people,

00:02:05
either good or bad. You know, things that little,

00:02:07
little rituals that are done for people to get something

00:02:11
accomplished, sometimes through the power of dark forces.

00:02:16
Turns out one of these callers for True Scary Story, the

00:02:20
storyteller told me that her mom said that the thing that I

00:02:25
described was made for protection because rice is made

00:02:29
for protection. So kind of let it go.

00:02:33
Turns out though, that we had a bunch of other stories that were

00:02:35
also submitted about this very thing.

00:02:39
Unseen forces that are either I don't know, tied to trauma,

00:02:44
family or sometimes hidden places that hold these things

00:02:49
there. So today we have some listener

00:02:53
submitted stories. You ready?

00:02:57
My name is Edwin and this is paranormal club.

00:03:07
All right, so make sure you stick to the end.

00:03:09
By the way, for this this episode, because I'm going to be

00:03:11
telling you some updates about our our lives, like our YouTube

00:03:14
live and some updates with our YouTube channel that are going

00:03:16
on. But for now, we're going to jump

00:03:17
into the stories. This one's from Lils.

00:03:20
Here we go, it was her mom, the one that told me about the

00:03:24
protection thing. This is her submission.

00:03:29
It started back in the year 2000.

00:03:31
We lived on a beautiful milk ranch that was 200 acres.

00:03:36
It was the best childhood I could have ever imagined.

00:03:40
It wasn't until 6th grade that everything turned upside down

00:03:43
when my dad cheated on my mom with the lady next door.

00:03:47
Little did we know that she did brujeria black magic that's

00:03:52
affected my mom a great deal. First I can remember I was

00:03:56
leaving school in 6th grade. I was it was freshly raining and

00:03:59
my mom was a beginner driver. We're about to make a right hand

00:04:03
turn when we saw an animal. Mind you it was a day looked

00:04:08
like a possum but it was pure black with green eyes so my mom

00:04:13
wouldn't hit it. She turned and we ended up in a

00:04:15
ditch. No one was hurt thank the Lord,

00:04:19
but after that my mom refused to drive again.

00:04:22
She kept saying that there was an accident coming and at that

00:04:25
point we hadn't been informed of my dad's mistress doing all the

00:04:29
black magic. In 7th grade my dad picked me up

00:04:33
from junior high and during a red light there was about four

00:04:37
cars and we were second. It happened so fast I barely

00:04:41
remember anything besides that animal possum looking thing

00:04:44
again since I was looking out the window when we got hit.

00:04:49
There's a fifth car driving going 55 mph and hit the car

00:04:53
behind us which hit us and so forth.

00:04:57
My mom got hurt and went to the hospital.

00:05:00
I remember being at the neighbor's house crying because

00:05:02
I was worried, and that's when I heard the lady, the mistress,

00:05:08
say on the phone that it didn't work, that I was still alive,

00:05:14
WTF happened, etcetera. I was mortified.

00:05:24
Please tell me if you've had a story or if you know somebody

00:05:27
who has said that in order to get somebody to love you or to

00:05:34
love them, they've done brujeriao.

00:05:37
You've heard of someone like that, like envy when somebody's

00:05:40
married like that. Pretty scary stuff.

00:05:46
Actually. Her full story by Lil's is on.

00:05:48
I, I can link to it too, so you can listen to her tell her the

00:05:50
rest of her story. The whole thing is very

00:05:52
interesting. That's a true scary story.

00:05:56
Let's continue on with the submission.

00:05:58
Danielle Pineda. This one's interesting.

00:06:00
This is about the, the, the bus that goes to Sonora, which is

00:06:04
where my family's from, so I'm very familiar with these buses

00:06:07
that take you all down the desert.

00:06:10
Pretty freaky. Here we go.

00:06:12
It's pretty short. It happened to my father in the

00:06:15
90s when he was a bus driver in Mexico.

00:06:19
He worked basically for a fancy greyhound style company called

00:06:23
Tres Estrellas de Oro 3 Golden stars.

00:06:27
This was the best of the best back in the 90s and you can

00:06:30
verify it by doing some research on it.

00:06:33
Anyway, that story happened like this.

00:06:36
He was taking a trip from Mexico City to Tijuana.

00:06:41
He says that while driving through La Rumorosa, like super

00:06:44
famous Mexican highway, it's also said to be haunted, A nude

00:06:51
man. A nude man ran across the road

00:06:54
which my dad ended up running over with a bus.

00:06:59
Keep in mind that the bus was full of passengers and many of

00:07:02
them saw what happened. It's also happened in the middle

00:07:06
of the night. My dad says that he pulled over

00:07:10
to see where the man was and to check for damage, but he didn't

00:07:13
find any damage nor the man. There was no blood or anything

00:07:19
of that nature. Freaked out by this, he hopped

00:07:24
back on the bus and continued his his route.

00:07:27
Once he arrived at Tijuana and all the passengers got off, he

00:07:30
went to the isolated part of the terminal to get some rest.

00:07:34
In Mexico these buses usually have a small sleeping

00:07:36
compartment next to where the luggage usually goes.

00:07:40
Anyway, my dad went down there to get some rest when suddenly

00:07:43
he started hearing a baby crying, footsteps and keys

00:07:49
jingling inside of the bus. Keep in mind that they have to

00:07:52
lock the buses so there is nobody inside.

00:07:56
Plus he was parked in an isolated part of the terminal.

00:08:00
My dad thinks that what happened on the road and then this, it's

00:08:04
most likely related. But anyway, that's my dad's

00:08:08
story. I hope you all can post it soon.

00:08:10
Thank you. Thanks a lot, Danielle, This was

00:08:15
you ready to think about? Because I've taken those buses

00:08:18
as a kid and they were always super scary, especially going

00:08:23
down the Rumorosa, that Rumorosa is really famous, really, really

00:08:26
famous. Haunted highway in Mexico in the

00:08:30
northern part, and there are some very interesting ghost

00:08:33
stories there. One of them is about a nurse

00:08:35
that appears on there. There's also, if you drive

00:08:37
there, I don't know if they've removed these now, but when you

00:08:40
used to drive there, we used to see all of these cars and buses

00:08:44
and trailers. Like they were all just down

00:08:46
there. Like they're not going to pay

00:08:47
money to, you know, bring them back up.

00:08:49
They're already busted, like they're totaled cars.

00:08:51
So they just stay there. But then to think that every

00:08:54
single one of those cars had a person or multiple people in

00:08:58
there that basically went all the way down, like, and these

00:09:03
are like deep ditches, like these are rocks, like Jagged

00:09:07
Riley. I can't imagine people surviving

00:09:09
those kind of falls. But pretty scary, scary to think

00:09:16
about just to that sensation of that.

00:09:18
And I do remember that company. I don't know if you were that

00:09:22
fancy back then, but I don't remember that.

00:09:27
I remember the green brand, I don't remember the name of it.

00:09:30
I remember the green and white. Anyway, this next story

00:09:35
Estefanie. My parents bought their house in

00:09:38
Santa Maria, CA or Santa Maria in 2004.

00:09:44
My dad decided to remove some bushes that were in front of the

00:09:47
house. As he began digging the bushes

00:09:50
out, he hit something with his shovel.

00:09:53
After a while he was able to dig out the item he hit with the

00:09:56
shovel and it was wrapped in plastic bags and there was a

00:09:59
white ceramic statue of some St. My parents questioned why the

00:10:05
previous owner had buried the statue.

00:10:08
Since this day strange things began to happen.

00:10:12
My brother at the time was around three to four years old

00:10:15
and he would tell my parents that when he looked out the

00:10:17
living room window he could see a reflection of a woman.

00:10:22
The woman seemed nice and looked more like an Angel.

00:10:25
This lasted a while and then he stopped seeing women in the

00:10:28
window, but my dad began to experience paranormal activity

00:10:32
in the house. To this day he is brief about

00:10:35
his experiences and does not want to share much.

00:10:40
I know he was having strange dreams and seeing a lady in the

00:10:43
house and parents later found out that she that the statue dug

00:10:47
out in the front yard was of Saint Francis but took care of

00:10:51
animals and nature. But still, well, I had to

00:10:55
question why it was buried in the first place.

00:11:01
A few years later, around 2012 to 2013, I began to have

00:11:05
paranormal experiences at my parents home.

00:11:08
At this time I was in high school and felt a little bit

00:11:10
stressed juggling work, sports, school, and all the senior

00:11:14
activities going on. At night when I would be asleep,

00:11:18
I began to notice little things happening in my room.

00:11:22
It started with me waking up between 2:00 or 3:00 AM for a

00:11:25
couple of days and then having trouble falling back to sleep.

00:11:30
Then it progressed. I would be asleep and suddenly

00:11:34
wake up but I would not open my eyes.

00:11:38
I could feel and send someone watching me lay in bed.

00:11:42
My heart would be racing and I had fear but no idea of what.

00:11:48
Other nights I would wake up but would not open my eyes, though I

00:11:52
could feel someone standing next to my bed.

00:11:55
I would just begin praying, hoping that I was dreaming or

00:11:58
whatever was watching me would go away.

00:12:00
Then things changed. Next to my bed I had a night

00:12:05
stand with a lamp and a digital clock.

00:12:08
Now when I would wake up at night, I would wake up to a

00:12:11
noise, a knocking, something that was coming from my night

00:12:14
stand. It would always come in knocks

00:12:17
of three, but again, I did not have the strength to open my

00:12:23
eyes to see what was making this sound.

00:12:25
Instead, I kept my eyes shut and buried myself in my blanket.

00:12:30
This situation kept happening for a few days until something

00:12:33
different happened. I would set my alarm clock on

00:12:36
the weekdays for 6:30 AM so I could get ready to go to high

00:12:40
school. But one night my alarm went off

00:12:43
at 3. AMI remember waking up confused,

00:12:46
turning off the alarm and not thinking much about it?

00:12:49
I just went back to sleep. The next day the same thing

00:12:53
happened again but I didn't think much of it.

00:12:58
Now the third night that it happened I remember waking up

00:13:01
and thinking WTFI turned my lamp light on and turned off my alarm

00:13:06
clock and I remember checking to see what time my alarm had been

00:13:09
set and it said 6:00 AM. During this time my room got

00:13:14
cold and I got a weird feeling. I realized that 3:00 AM means

00:13:19
the witches or devil time and this was the third night in a

00:13:23
row my alarm went off at exactly 3:00 AM.

00:13:27
Now that night I slept with my lamp light on.

00:13:32
Next morning I told my parents about what happened the past

00:13:35
three nights. My mom went to church and got

00:13:37
holy water to spray around the house.

00:13:40
I never got an answer. I never found out why this was

00:13:44
happening to me. I never saw something, but I did

00:13:48
have the sensation that someone was watching me as I slept.

00:13:55
After high school I attended UC Riverside and during my second

00:13:59
or third year of college I began to experience weird things.

00:14:03
I began to notice that throughout the day I would get

00:14:05
really tired. I would take 3 to 4 naps during

00:14:08
the day, something that was unusual for me.

00:14:12
I even went to the doctor just to make sure that there wasn't

00:14:14
anything wrong with me. But during my naps in broad

00:14:18
daylight, I began to experience a series of sleep paralysis.

00:14:22
This had never happened to me. Some occasions I would wake up

00:14:26
but had my eyes closed, but still I could see shadows in my

00:14:30
room. I could see a dark shadow

00:14:33
moving, but I had no capability of fully opening my eyes or

00:14:37
moving my body. My muscles felt stiff and in

00:14:41
those instances I felt fear and anxiety.

00:14:44
The fact that I cannot control my body.

00:14:46
Pretty scary. But then my sleep paralysis took

00:14:49
a turn of offense. One day as I got out of class, I

00:14:54
felt super tired, so I decided to go back to my apartment to

00:14:57
take a nap before my next class. When I got to my apartment, one

00:15:01
of my roommates was hanging out of the living room.

00:15:04
I went to my room and took a nap and I remember waking up to a

00:15:09
dark room. I was laying in bed and looked

00:15:12
around the room trying to adjust my eyesight and I recognized the

00:15:15
room. It was my room back at my

00:15:17
parents house. I tried to get out of the bed

00:15:21
but I had no control of my body. I began to panic because I

00:15:25
couldn't move and I felt someone else in that room with me.

00:15:29
I tried so hard to move my body, I even tried to yell but no

00:15:32
words came out. I struggled for a bit and

00:15:36
managed to move my body. And when my brother and I were

00:15:38
kids, we shared a room and our parents will tell us that if we

00:15:41
ever got scared to simply knock on the wall that connects to

00:15:44
their room, they would hear it and they would come check on us.

00:15:49
So when I had control of my body, I was scared to get out of

00:15:52
the bed and I just began to knock on the wall just like I

00:15:55
did as a kid, but I couldn't hear a sound.

00:15:59
I pounded on the wall as hard as I could and again silence.

00:16:05
I began to yell out my parents name but again it was silent.

00:16:11
I looked around the room and didn't see anyone but I could

00:16:14
feel something that was in the room.

00:16:17
I got the courage and I got off the bed and began walking

00:16:20
towards my door. My room door is to the right of

00:16:23
my closet, so I began to take a few steps toward my room door,

00:16:28
but out of the corner of my eye, I saw a shadow.

00:16:34
I turned my attention to the shadow and began to walk toward

00:16:36
my closet, and as I got closer, I put my hand out, reaching for

00:16:41
it. Shadow began to move, and then I

00:16:44
saw a woman's face, a white pale face with dark eyes, a face that

00:16:54
did not look human or peaceful, more like something evil.

00:16:59
This lady put her hand out and reached the back of my neck.

00:17:03
She began to pull me toward her mouth.

00:17:06
She opened it wide and this thing was a big hole filled with

00:17:11
sharp teeth just like a shark. She pulled me in and I remember

00:17:16
looking at her dark black eyes and feeling so scared as I

00:17:21
entered her mouth. I woke up and I was back in my

00:17:25
apartment. My heart was beating so fast and

00:17:28
I was having a hard time breathing.

00:17:31
So when I was able to call myself and felt a burning

00:17:33
sensation on the back of my neck, I touched the back of it

00:17:38
and it felt warm. So I went to the living room and

00:17:40
asked my roommate if she could take a look at the back of my

00:17:43
neck because it felt hot. She took a look and said you

00:17:47
have scratch marks. Were you scratching yourself?

00:17:52
The area is a bit red. I remember looking at her

00:17:56
confused and not believing what she had said.

00:18:00
I told her I did not scratch myself and I told her about my

00:18:03
dream. She was surprised and scared

00:18:07
after I told her about the lady grabbing my neck.

00:18:11
That day, I did not go to my next class.

00:18:14
I was just shocked and scared. That day I called my parents and

00:18:18
told them about my experience. My dad just told me that if it

00:18:21
happens again to pray and to tell the lady to go away and

00:18:25
leave me alone. But I asked him maybe that Lady

00:18:31
was the one that we would see in the house but I never got a

00:18:35
clear answer from him. That weekend, my parents came to

00:18:39
visit me and my mom brought holy water.

00:18:42
She sprayed the entire apartment and left a bottle with holy

00:18:44
water underneath my bed. Till this day, I never found out

00:18:50
who this lady is or why she appeared in my dream.

00:18:56
I still have sleep paralysis here and there but this lady

00:18:59
hasn't appeared in my dreams anymore.

00:19:06
I know we get a lot of sleep paralysis stories but this was

00:19:10
the first time I ever got one where like the shark teeth like

00:19:19
that was very visual. I don't know if you got the same

00:19:21
thing, but like you could actually visualize that like.

00:19:29
Just off the couch, scaring myself.

00:19:33
All right, here we go. This next one, Sarah.

00:19:43
Back in 2008, my mom and I moved back to my hometown and says it

00:19:47
was located on an Indian Reservation in Montana.

00:19:50
Finding a place to rent was nearly impossible when he first

00:19:54
arrived. My grandma agreed to let us stay

00:19:56
with her until we found something.

00:19:59
However, my mom and grandma had some tension over things that

00:20:02
happened between them while my mom was growing up, so we knew

00:20:06
we needed to find a place sooner than later.

00:20:09
After about four months, my mom got a job at the local hardware

00:20:12
store and we got a list for a tribal housing house.

00:20:17
Oh, so they got on the list OK. Unfortunately, my mom and

00:20:20
grandma started arguing a lot and we knew we couldn't wait

00:20:24
until the house opened up for us.

00:20:26
We started praying about it and my mom resumed the search for a

00:20:29
place. Now she has seen this ad in the

00:20:33
paper from a lady named Elaine who was looking for someone to

00:20:36
rent her two-story home. In the ad she said that she was

00:20:41
looking for someone urgently since she was leaving town for

00:20:43
several months. That should have been the first

00:20:46
red flags not to trust it, but since we were desperate and

00:20:50
didn't want my grandma kicking us out in the middle of winter,

00:20:53
we went for it. We moved into the home within a

00:20:56
week of my mom responding to the ad and actually found out Elaine

00:21:00
didn't even live in the house itself but in a trailer next to

00:21:04
it. I was definitely should have

00:21:06
been another red flag, but we ignored it again.

00:21:11
Now since my mom was a single parent and we were estranged

00:21:14
from my family, it meant that I had to be at the house by myself

00:21:18
while she worked. After about two weeks of doing

00:21:21
this, I started hearing footsteps coming from the

00:21:24
kitchen even though I was the only one home.

00:21:28
I also started seeing things out of the corner of my eye, but

00:21:31
when I'd look, there was nothing.

00:21:35
One day I came home from school and was taking off my backpack

00:21:38
when I heard what sounded like silverware clanging in the

00:21:41
kitchen. I ran to the kitchen calling for

00:21:44
my mom thinking she was home. When I came to the kitchen,

00:21:48
there was no one there, but there was silverware in the dish

00:21:53
sink. It was at that point when I

00:21:56
realized that something supernatural was happening.

00:21:59
So I started getting paranoid of being home alone and that's when

00:22:02
I would start to keep a knife on me at all times in case I needed

00:22:06
to defend myself. One day the footsteps got so bad

00:22:10
that I thought I was being chased and ran out of the house.

00:22:14
However, as I left my keys inside, I got locked out.

00:22:19
I had to sit outside of my home until my mom came, which was

00:22:23
about an hour. When she got home she questioned

00:22:27
how I got locked out and that's when I told her everything that

00:22:29
was happening. She decided to anoint the house

00:22:33
with oil and rebuke any spirits that were there.

00:22:38
This worked for a while and I stopped hearing footsteps, but a

00:22:41
couple of weeks later, my mom came home with a puppy and said

00:22:44
that a lady was giving them away at the hardware store.

00:22:48
We named them Buster and she let him stay inside with me as long

00:22:52
as I took care of him. After Buster arrived, however,

00:22:56
the footsteps noises started again.

00:23:00
Every time it would happen, Buster would bark his head off

00:23:03
and his fur would stand up. I decided to take us upstairs

00:23:07
into the room my mom and I slept in.

00:23:11
We stayed there for a while with the door locked and watched

00:23:13
movies, and eventually I got hungry but I was nervous to go

00:23:17
downstairs again. I picked up Buster to take him

00:23:20
with me, but he started flailing and biting at me when I walked

00:23:24
over the door. So I put him on the bed and try

00:23:27
to coax him into the room, but he refused to leave.

00:23:32
I eventually try to brave it on my own, but as I approached the

00:23:35
stairs I had seen this dark shadow wrap around me and I

00:23:40
screamed. Now this led me to falling down

00:23:43
the stairs and since there was no railing, I almost fell off

00:23:45
the staircase and onto the ground downstairs.

00:23:50
However, I landed at the base of the stairs and started crying.

00:23:53
I had this feeling to get up right away and I did.

00:23:57
And as I did that, a glass picture that was hanging above

00:24:02
my head fell and broke right as I moved my head out of the way.

00:24:08
Buster trailed behind me and she turned around and was barking up

00:24:11
the stairs. him and I ran into the kitchen where I grabbed a

00:24:16
knife because I thought it was an intruder that I was going to

00:24:19
fight. However, when I checked the

00:24:22
house, there was no one. Once again I called my mom

00:24:29
crying and I asked if she can come home early because it got

00:24:32
hurt. She did, she did, and when she

00:24:35
got there I told her about me falling and how I saw this

00:24:38
shadow. Right then she decided we needed

00:24:41
to move again and called an old friend to see if we could stay

00:24:44
with her. Thankfully this friend agreed

00:24:47
and said but said that we couldn't right away since her

00:24:50
son was home for the winter break and the extra room wasn't

00:24:53
available. So we toughed it out for another

00:24:56
few weeks and called Elaine to ask about the house.

00:25:01
She said that her family is very traditional in their beliefs and

00:25:05
would hold traditional Native American ceremonies in the home.

00:25:10
Since we are Christians, they figured out that whatever

00:25:13
spirits were in the house didn't like us.

00:25:16
Historically, Native Americans and Christians have bad blood

00:25:19
due to the effects of colonization.

00:25:23
My mom told Elaine this and Elaine decided to let us out of

00:25:26
the lease agreement. The night we were supposed to

00:25:29
move out, we were packing the last of our belongings.

00:25:33
We were in the living room and my dog was in the dining room.

00:25:38
We suddenly heard him whimpering in pain and he ran to see what

00:25:42
was wrong. As I approached, I saw him

00:25:46
flattened down the ground like he was being stepped on and I

00:25:50
screamed. My mom came in behind me and saw

00:25:53
what was happening. She began rebuking the Spirit,

00:25:56
doing this in the name of Jesus, and demanding it to leave us

00:25:59
alone as soon as she did that, but everyone's holding my dog

00:26:04
down stopped and we felt this odd sense of peace in the house.

00:26:10
After that, we finished packing as fast as we could and left

00:26:13
that house in the middle of the night to go away with my mom's

00:26:17
friend. We have since moved from my

00:26:19
hometown and I'm an adult now. However, now anytime I've moved

00:26:24
anywhere, whether to a new apartment or even when I went to

00:26:27
college, I always pray out and anoint the space regularly.

00:26:36
We've gotten some stories too from Native American like people

00:26:39
on reservations and actually one of the more popular stories

00:26:43
called the little Girl on the podcast True Scary Story.

00:26:48
And they mention a lot of stuff in the reservation.

00:26:51
And I'm very curious to know about this stuff.

00:26:53
But there is like this wall because like I was like, I can

00:26:59
go and start researching and finding all this stuff out.

00:27:02
But there's also so much information out there that if

00:27:05
you get, you know, you get the wrong sources, like you're, you

00:27:11
can make a serious mistake like by just like, for example, when,

00:27:14
when people talk about making Skinwalker stories, who I mean,

00:27:18
they're, there's, they have their own, their own way of

00:27:20
telling stories. Like I'm talking about Native

00:27:22
American people, their own way of telling stories about the

00:27:25
skinwalkers. To them, it might not be what,

00:27:28
what it is to the rest of us, which is like this creature that

00:27:31
we find creepy and entertaining and stuff, but might have a

00:27:36
deeper significance. So you have to be careful with

00:27:38
that kind of stuff too, you know, But some of the stories

00:27:41
that we get about stuff in the reservation, like there was 1

00:27:44
about this girl who got pulled over.

00:27:46
Well, she was in a car when someone else is driving and they

00:27:50
got pulled over by this police officer.

00:27:52
But the police officer wasn't there at all.

00:27:56
Like it was just like, turns out there was no, no cop out there.

00:28:02
But there have been multiple stories supposedly about this

00:28:05
ghost police officer that pulls over cars.

00:28:08
He had apparently died in a in a in a car accident That was, I

00:28:13
don't know. That was really creepy just to

00:28:15
hear about because it's a typical story, but also like it

00:28:17
was a true, a true account of it happening.

00:28:19
So, but those are the stories that we have since we don't have

00:28:23
too many, I guess toy stories that you've you've found or

00:28:26
you've submitted. Let's try some work stories.

00:28:28
Like do you have any stories from work, like at your work

00:28:31
workplace? I want to hear stories if you

00:28:34
have plus bonus points, bonus points here if you work the

00:28:37
night shift somewhere. But either way, regular work

00:28:40
stories work perfectly fine. No, no pun intended there.

00:28:46
Let's go through some comments. I know that last time we got a

00:28:48
couple of sad faces because of the we couldn't get through all

00:28:53
the comments. So now we actually have time for

00:28:55
for to actually get back to the comments here, which I love

00:28:59
doing that. And then I wanted to do these

00:29:01
live, but also, oh, by the way, by the way, so here's what we're

00:29:06
doing that just I'll just tell you about it now.

00:29:08
So we have live, we're doing live streams now.

00:29:13
Last during the last episode, we were like, why not?

00:29:15
It was a suggestion from one of you guys and I'm like, why not?

00:29:18
Why Why don't we? So we're going to try this,

00:29:22
right? We're going to try them

00:29:23
Thursdays. They're going to be at you can

00:29:25
check the times. They're going to check the times

00:29:26
on on the website paranormalclub.com.

00:29:29
It's always LinkedIn, the description, paranormalclub.com

00:29:32
and there's a big header there and it has the the time when

00:29:36
when I'm going live and it's going to be on YouTube.

00:29:39
So all you have to do is click the button on the website or go

00:29:42
straight to our YouTube channel actually.

00:29:44
Well, that's another thing that we have all the videos from

00:29:47
Paranormal Club on our old YouTube channel and moving to a

00:29:49
new channel. And that's because we're really

00:29:52
messing up the algorithm with this style of content.

00:29:57
I guess it kind of makes sense really pushing it by having all

00:30:00
the all the podcasts in one channel.

00:30:03
But anyway, I'm also going to be going through some of the, the,

00:30:06
the comments there, the ones that we get for this, for this

00:30:10
episode. And if you have questions,

00:30:12
something that you, I don't know, you've been wondering, I

00:30:14
don't know anything, anything goes there.

00:30:16
Ask it in the comments on Spotify or drop it in the

00:30:20
comments on the YouTube channel on the, on this, on this video.

00:30:24
You can also e-mail me edwin@scarystory.com or use a

00:30:28
form that we have here. So there's a bunch of ways to

00:30:31
get it. So let's go through some

00:30:34
comments from our last episode called Ghost of the Haunted

00:30:39
Tower of London. Here we go.

00:30:44
Nyla says my first spooky scary story was either the Chupacabra

00:30:49
or La Yorona, but I never know that I never knew that of the of

00:30:53
the London Tower. That's pretty creepy.

00:30:55
Keep going. Exclamation point, exclamation

00:30:57
point, exclamation point, exclamation point the So this,

00:31:02
this reply comes because I asked what was the very first scary

00:31:06
story or the first story you remember as a kid?

00:31:08
And actually I remember like Eurona stories, an interesting,

00:31:14
interesting little thing here. Back when I was growing up, like

00:31:16
when I was a kid, my aunt used to live with us.

00:31:19
And I remember one time she said like, oh, like that was doing

00:31:24
something. I don't know, I was messing

00:31:25
around with something and she said don't do that or something

00:31:28
like that. That means the devil's going to

00:31:32
eat you or get you something like that.

00:31:34
And I didn't know what this was. So I went to my dad and I'm like

00:31:38
Papa kiss Diablo. Like, what's devil?

00:31:43
I had no idea. But that always reminds me of

00:31:47
that. But it was supposed to scare me

00:31:50
and it didn't. I was just like, I don't know

00:31:52
what we're talking about here, but cool.

00:31:54
Thanks a lot. Night love for the for that

00:31:55
comment. And yeah, the Tower of London

00:31:58
has a ton, a ton. I mentioned probably, I don't

00:32:03
know, 10% of all the stories that are there.

00:32:06
We had there's a lot of accounts from the security guards on

00:32:09
Reddit. There's actually accounts of

00:32:10
people that have worked there, security guards and they tell

00:32:13
their stories there like they do Amas.

00:32:15
It's like, ask me, anything's on there.

00:32:17
That's pretty cool, Natalia says.

00:32:19
Love the podcast. Your investigation about each

00:32:21
story is very useful and the history is fascinating.

00:32:24
Please keep going and being yourself.

00:32:26
Thanks a lot, Natalia. Like, that's awesome.

00:32:29
Appreciate that. Because you know what about

00:32:32
being myself here. I'd always thought that history

00:32:34
was boring. Always, always thought that

00:32:36
history was the most boring subject in school ever.

00:32:39
I guess schools make everything kind of boring.

00:32:42
But lately I've been learning so much about, you know, even doing

00:32:45
research for the podcast Horror Story.

00:32:49
There's so much cool stuff the history can teach us and things

00:32:53
that we can learn. So I'm, I'm like always digging

00:32:58
a really deep into all these things.

00:32:59
I'm going through like PDFs and like, I have like research tools

00:33:02
to like help out too. Or like you get through several

00:33:05
books and you find connections between them.

00:33:09
You find like first hand accounts, like there's all these

00:33:12
things, all this stuff. So I'll end up going through a

00:33:14
bunch, a bunch of information to make one episode.

00:33:17
And for that one I remember specifically going through,

00:33:22
there's so many different versions of the stories

00:33:24
themselves too. So I just, I'm curious to know,

00:33:28
like some of these stories aren't like there's no one

00:33:30
single account for them. And I feel like that's what

00:33:32
history kind of is. It's like there's the count of

00:33:36
what happened, but then you read an account from another

00:33:38
perspective. It's like the same event from

00:33:40
different viewpoints. So Long story short, history is

00:33:44
really cool. Thanks a lot for that, by the

00:33:46
way. Natalia Yoda 2-3 sevens back.

00:33:49
Yeah, Says I really, I really hope you do.

00:33:52
Lives. I think my first spooky story

00:33:54
was Bloody Mary or Candyman. I remember Candyman.

00:33:58
Candyman. I remember the story of

00:34:02
Candyman. I think, I think I was, I'm

00:34:05
confusing. It was like Halloween candy.

00:34:07
Like the like that thing was like you're supposed to check

00:34:11
the candy because there's needles in in the candy.

00:34:15
I don't know. Anyway, thanks a lot Yoda.

00:34:16
And yes, we are doing lives now. Go to paranormalclub.com.

00:34:20
So you can find the link to the YouTube channel on that YouTube

00:34:23
channel. Now you get you should see the

00:34:25
latest like the scheduled live that's coming up.

00:34:29
So you should click the notify and that way you get access to

00:34:32
it. If you don't have access to

00:34:34
that, like if you miss it, like you can view it.

00:34:38
It won't be public though. That's going to mess up the how

00:34:41
we have everything set up. They'll be there.

00:34:44
They'll they'll just be privatized.

00:34:45
So I can send you the links if you want them to just let me

00:34:47
know. Let me know because we're still

00:34:49
setting all this stuff up. I just want to know if you're up

00:34:51
for that, you know, if you, if you're into that.

00:34:54
Blanca, I'm Corona says sad you can't get to all of our

00:34:56
messages, but happy you're doing great or I'm getting through all

00:35:00
these messages now. Yeah, sorry about the last one.

00:35:02
We did get a lot, a lot of comments.

00:35:04
So that was awesome. But also, yeah, it was, it was

00:35:07
going to take us way, way too long to get through everything.

00:35:09
Plus I also like to yap after comments sometimes.

00:35:13
But either way, thanks a lot Blanca for for the for the

00:35:16
comment on this this story. Valerie says, I love ghosts and

00:35:21
all things paranormal, but what I think makes these episodes so

00:35:23
good is that you throw in a bit of history.

00:35:26
I can't wait for the next episode.

00:35:27
Valerie, thank you for that, because this is what I just said

00:35:30
too. History is pretty cool.

00:35:32
And I didn't know that I did this all the time where I tie

00:35:37
things were like, wait, this actually already happened.

00:35:40
Actually, you know, one of the things that really bothers me,

00:35:42
like now, for example, the state of the United States, like what

00:35:45
it is now, all the things that we're seeing about ice, all the

00:35:52
stuff that's going on right now, Gaza, all these things that are

00:35:56
happening in the world right now, it seems like we're all on

00:35:59
fire. If we could just take a few

00:36:02
steps back and look at history, look at what happened, look at

00:36:05
how things started, we'd be so much better off right now.

00:36:09
Like we we'd understand where this all can lead and how

00:36:15
cruelty is should never be an answer to anything.

00:36:17
Like you should always let people keep their dignity no

00:36:22
matter what is going on. Like, no matter what is

00:36:26
happening, like we should always have that right?

00:36:30
And sure, there's consequences to things, but people should,

00:36:33
should always keep their dignity and you should never.

00:36:36
It's, it's a whole different. It's a whole thing.

00:36:38
But like, it's affecting like now, right?

00:36:40
Because if, if people were aware of what's, you know, history,

00:36:43
we'd act a lot different, you know, so scary history can be

00:36:47
really scary. Shanathan says, Love the

00:36:51
stories. Please keep making more.

00:36:52
I've been listening to this podcast for almost 2 years now.

00:36:55
I never get used to it. Everything you make is amazing.

00:36:58
Thanks a lot, Sean. I hope is this Jonathan or

00:37:01
Sianathan? Jonathan makes sense, but let me

00:37:05
know, let me know if I got it right.

00:37:07
Thanks a lot. Thanks a lot for the comment on

00:37:08
here for the by the way, I think you're referring to like the

00:37:12
podcast, like the you know, in general our network or like the

00:37:15
podcast that we have now. I appreciate that.

00:37:18
Thank you. Thank you for that, Nina, Simone

00:37:21
says or Simone says I'm all for the YouTube live.

00:37:26
Yeah, it's happening. It's happening.

00:37:28
Nina, go check you check it out paranormalclub.com.

00:37:32
Go to that button. You don't need to like sign up,

00:37:34
but you just need it's just the link for the YouTube channel

00:37:37
just in case you people can't find it.

00:37:40
But yeah, it'll be like a time is going to be set right there.

00:37:42
It's going to tell you where the like when it's happening.

00:37:45
If you miss it, just let me know.

00:37:46
I'll send you the link for so you can catch.

00:37:50
You can watch the replay of it. Here we go.

00:37:52
Mama bear says Oh things away, thanks anyway Nina.

00:37:56
Mama bear says. I can't remember the first true

00:37:59
ghost story told to me, but I know my first encounter was from

00:38:02
my biological dad a couple of months after he passed.

00:38:06
I was 11 at the time and I didn't know what an apparition

00:38:09
was. Also Princess Diana would be a

00:38:11
good one to look into for the clown.

00:38:13
The Crown Royal series, Crown, not clown.

00:38:18
Yeah, but just Diana would make. I remember that story that like

00:38:22
what happened with her when I was a kid.

00:38:24
I remember. I remember much of like many of

00:38:28
the details, but I remember it was a big controversy.

00:38:31
And also there was some supernatural kind of things

00:38:33
going on there too. So I'm going to look into that.

00:38:36
I'm going to look into that. I appreciate the comment, Mom

00:38:39
Bear. Glad to see you around here.

00:38:43
Shayla. Renee says my first stories were

00:38:46
for my grandma. She always, she was always

00:38:49
surrounded by spirits. So anytime she would have an

00:38:51
experience, she would share with the grandkids.

00:38:55
Some were very creepy, some were creepy and some were were

00:38:58
wholesome. Thank you for your videos and

00:39:00
stories. Every week I look forward to

00:39:02
hearing from you. Happy face.

00:39:04
Thanks a lot. Shayla or Shay?

00:39:06
Shay. Yeah, it makes Shayla makes

00:39:08
sense. I say make sense just because

00:39:10
it's all stuck together on the usernames here.

00:39:12
But but yeah, cool, cool. Those are the comments that we

00:39:16
have for the last episode from YouTube.

00:39:19
I don't think we got any because we have the channel, the videos

00:39:21
in a new channel. But but yeah, also in other

00:39:26
news, I think the polls are in like the poll results are are in

00:39:33
for our name and that is what should our audience fan base be

00:39:43
called. The winner is Los Bukis.

00:39:50
That's her name, guys. That is her name now.

00:39:55
It's going to be on on our IDs and stuff.

00:39:57
Just kidding. Like that's awesome.

00:40:00
I mean. It's cool.

00:40:02
I mean, it's it's like our thing, like please remind me.

00:40:05
Please remind me who suggested it?

00:40:08
Oh, there we go. EB Alarcon, we did it.

00:40:16
There we go. It says yeah, we got a lot of

00:40:17
people liking little spooky suggestion.

00:40:20
Or did you suggest that or did someone else do it?

00:40:22
I don't know. It doesn't.

00:40:23
I mean it does matter. I want to know who.

00:40:25
But super cool. I guess now we, I guess we're

00:40:29
little Spooky's now. I always I'm always going to say

00:40:32
Los ES spookies just because it's easier to say Los ES Los.

00:40:35
I even said it. Now those are spookies.

00:40:38
But any who those are the updates for for the the show and

00:40:43
everything that's going on now. But again, if you have

00:40:46
questions, if you have any stories, again, this time I'm

00:40:49
looking for stories about work, workplace or if you know

00:40:54
somebody who has a story like a scary story that happened to a

00:40:56
Co worker or something. I used to work in a Taco Bell

00:41:00
back in the day and there used to be scary stories about there

00:41:03
for some reason. Like fast food places have a lot

00:41:05
of ghost stories. Like in this one, we actually

00:41:07
used to be able to go on the roof.

00:41:09
Hopefully we don't get trouble for doing this, but like for

00:41:11
talking about this. But like we used to like I

00:41:15
didn't know there was a staircase, but like we used to

00:41:16
go up in the roof and like every once in a while and the very,

00:41:19
very back of the of the restaurant of the kitchen, you

00:41:23
would hear boxes and stuff move like on their own completely.

00:41:26
Sometimes it would be only my friend.

00:41:28
My friend actually used to work there full time and sometimes he

00:41:32
would be the one that closed and maybe another person would be

00:41:36
cleaning, like doing the very, very last thing and they would

00:41:39
both hear noises in the back. Pretty creepy.

00:41:42
Pretty creepy stuff. Anywho, you guys know where to

00:41:45
reach me, Edwin at scarystory.com,

00:41:48
panoramaclub.com, the website and you can also TMB.

00:41:52
I'm Edwin Cove, EDWINCOV, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook.

00:41:57
But but yeah, thank you so much for listening or watching.

00:42:02
Keep it scary everyone. See you soon.
