The scene is a trailer that faces the woods. A group of friends that work the night shift are gathered hanging out. What's the worst that could happen? My name is Edward and here is Hayley's true scary story. Back when I was I want to say eighteen and nineteen, me and my significant other moved into a trailer and we never expected things to happen like they did there. We were young, we were night shift workers. Everything was our schedule. We're always up at night, sleep throughout the day. We always had friends and even with them being there, things would still happen. The first event I noticed is when nobody else was there except me and my significant other. We were laying down to go to sleep. I want to say it was probably five or six in the morning. We were laying in bed and he had fallen asleep. I had heard the bathroom door opening and closing because it would squeak. Now, we had three cats, because there were three of us in the house. Each one of us had a cat, and I'm like, okay, what are the cats doing. We got to be messing with the door. I get up out of bed and I seen all three cats sitting on the couch across in the living room, and I was like, Okay, maybe I imagined it. I go to go lay back down, and the dryer turned itself on. I turned it off. I tried to ignore it and just chalk it up as something just out of my imagination. Don't know why, but I did. We woke up after that and our side door was wide open with the dead bolt still locked, and no one else was there at the time. It was me, my significant other, and his brother living there. His brother was at a friend's house, and we had no idea how that happened, and we let it go because it never happened. As time goes on and we're there longer, me and my significant others started to fight more and more. The place just had a really dark, heavy feeling to it. And after that first event, I noticed anytime I was there alone, my one cat would run around terrified of god knows what. One time I thought I'd seen somebody walk past our living room window and he literally got down out of the window and was like puffed up, scared, shaking, and I went outside and looked around because there was a wrap around porch and there was nobody there. My significant other's brother's name is Eric. It was Eric and our friend Nick sitting in the living room talking. It's probably two three in the morning. We're just shooting the crap with each other, having a good time, playing video games, watching TV, and me and Eric are sitting on the couch. Nick had gotten up to go to the bathroom. He was standing in my hallway. I had a little fake candle lantern hanging there. Now was out of the way where nobody could hit it. It wasn't gonna get bumped because it was up high enough. He had walked by and gone to the bathroom, and as he was coming back out, he was standing there talking. He was behind the lantern and the hook was facing towards the living room, away from him. The lantern had gotten lifted up off the hook and thrown at him. It hit him and it broke, and we were all like, what just happened. It scared all of us in a way, but we were all kind of like like that, that's cool. I had never seen anything like that before. Eric was just kind of like, are you okay, Oh my god, what just happened? And Nick was more like, who just threw that at me? How did that even happen, like he was just like trying to figure out and explain like how it happened, and we're all sitting there and we could not figure out how it happened. We were trying and we're like, there's no possible way. Shortly after that, me and my friend Pacy were messing around on our phones thinking the spirit box apps fake and there wasn't anything to them because we just took it as a joke. Me and my friends watched the normal like YouTube paranormal investigations, just like here and there, and we were watching I think it was Steve Huff and I had the app open for one of the spirit boxes and it said Steve and our internet completely cut out and everything just shut down all at the same time, and the app stopped working, Internet stopped working, my friend's phone shut off and restart and we don't know why. In that house, there was just a lot of negativity. There was constant fighting and bickering between people. We would sit in the backyard because we had a wrap around porch and we would sit on the porch and the trailer faced the woods. You would see lights throughout the woods and there'd be nobody back there. There'd be times where it looked like floating lanterns that were like the paper lanterns, but there wasn't any. There would be times, like you swear you would see people walk by and there'd be nobody out there. Shortly after the spirit Box, we were sitting in one of the spare rooms that we had. It was my friend Pacey and his ex girlfriends at the time. We were all in there hanging out, and we all just got this really overwhelming urge to leave the room because we felt just really uncomfortable. She was about to cry, and I don't know why. See told me that he ended up seeing a older looking with really dark long hair, and she was very creepy looking, and she would just sit in the corner of that room. I had an experience where I went to go lay down pretty early for a night shift worker, because like, my schedule was basically backwards at the time I went to go lay down around two three in the morning. I was laying in bed. Everyone's out in the living room and who was over at the time was out in the living room just having a good time and they're keeping it down. But I was laying there and I just I seen this dark shadow figure standing in the corner, and I got this really overwhelming, fearful urge to get out of my own room, to the point where I was scared and if I didn't leave the room, something bad was going to happen. So I got up out of bed and acted, oh yeah, I was tired, but now I'm not. I'm just gonna come hang out. One of the last days that we were there, my significant other's brother Eric had moved out. At this point, it was just me and Jimmy. I was there cleaning alone, trying to just finish up doing things for moving. And I walked out into the kitchen and like, I had a pile of like a couple of cans on the counter because we recycled everything, and I watched one slide straight across the counter. I looked at it and went no, and walked into my bedroom and sat there until he came back from work. I was like, I'm not doing this today. I don't want to do this anymore because it was just so many little things that had added up. I was just like, I can't, I'm done. Since moving out of there, we don't fight like we did there. It was so unhappy there. We moved out immediately. Our relationship got ten times better and stronger. We don't fight like we did there. We don't argue, we don't nothing like. It completely changed. After moving out of there, we moved into a different apartment. Fast forward a few years later. I had our daughter and I was walking up the stairs with her to go to her room. At the top of the stairs, if you immediately turned your head to the left was her room. There's a rocking chair where you could see it direct line with the door. The older lady with the dark long hair was sitting in that rocking chair. It terror because I'm like, oh my god, it followed me. I have since found out she's followed me because I was the first person to not be nasty to her. She's not negative or anything in any way. She's actually just hangs out, just watches. I've had multiple people tell me about her. I've had people who I don't even know come up and be like, you have an attachment, and I'm like, yes, I know. I recently found out that she prefers to be called Mary, and she watches over me and watches over my daughter because my daughter reminds her of her own when she was alive. After moving out of that house, I did do some research and found out that there were three people who did pass away there. Two were heard to atad and one was a suicide. And that was about all the information I could find about exactly what happened in that house. There was not much else. I couldn't find much on the land or anything like that. One of my best friends, Shae, her high school friend Brie, we were at a party and she's like, you have an attachment, and I'm like, I know, seeing her does scare me. And as of talking debris, Apparently she finds it funny because I'm an easy target, as she puts it, just to mess with me. But since finding that out, I'm like, okay, that's an off. Since I was little, I have always seen and noticed things around. I just got to a point where I've learned to just Okay, that's good, that's enough, let's stop for today. The crazy thing is, even though all of this was happening to me and my friends, nothing ever happened to my significant other, Jimmy. They never bothered him, they never messed with him, they never showed themselves to him. But they were showing themselves to the rest of us and bothering the rest of us. I feel like his younger brother was heavily affected in that house. His younger brother very depressed when he was there, and getting out, he isn't. He's much happier, he's a bit more like. Things are better, things are good. Like I had no reason to be as depressed as I was. There was so much fighting, so much negativity, and we all moved out and it all went away. It was all gone.
