Today we're going to get to hear about different experiences. The first one is from a vacant home. The second is a person with special abilities. And the third, it's about a reoccurring song that keeps creeping people out. My name is Edwin, and here is Jasmine's, Amanda's, and Juan's true scary stories. My mom used to let us stay out late at night, sometimes around 12 midnight, sometimes 1 o'clock in the morning. This one specific night, my mom's friend came over. She has a son and a daughter. So they were around the same age as my brother and my sister. It was 12 midnight. We were just playing normally. All the lights were on. We were just hanging out, playing. What little kids do? Our friend. She just stood there. I saw her that she was just standing there. I kept glancing at her to look at her to see if she was okay. And I was like, maybe she's trying to scare us or something. But then I saw that she wasn't just moving at all. So I was like, okay. I went up to her and I asked her, I was like, hey, what's wrong? Are you okay? She looked at me and she was like, no. No. You don't see it. And she was pointing at the window at the vacant house. I looked to turn and I didn't see anything. I looked at her and I was like, no, because it was pretty dark. Like inside the house was pretty dark. Our front porch light wouldn't reach that far. I was like, I don't see anything. And I looked at her and I was like, no, I don't see anything. What do you see? If you're trying to scare us, like it's not going to work on us. She was like, no, how do you not see it? And she started yelling, like yelling if someone was like chasing her, trying to kill her. She ran inside the house and I ran after her. My brother and my sister were still with our other friend. They were a little further than we were. When we ran inside, my mom also looked at her like, what's wrong? What's wrong? And her mom was also like, why are you yelling? Why are you yelling? She started crying. And she was trying to get everything out of what she saw. And then my mom started telling me like, hey, what'd you do to her? And I was like, I didn't do nothing. I was like, she was just standing there, like looking at the house that, the vacant house. My friend, she finally calmed down and she was like, oh, I saw that there was this like cholo looking guy just sitting there what seemed to be a bed. This one older lady came in with her head down, but she kind of came in fast. She put her hand up, and what made it seem like a gun, like she shot the guy. And the guy just fell over to his side, the left side. The older lady turned around to look at my friend, and then she started smiling at her so creepily. I looked at her, and I was like, what? What do you mean? And she was like, yeah, she was like the lady, the older lady. She had blood in her teeth when she was smiling at me. And she just, everything disappeared after. We were like, oh, it's just kid talk. I literally forgot about the situation. As the months went by, my aunt moved in. She used to rent the attic to my other uncle. In that specific house, the people that actually lived in there, it was, of course, my aunt, her six kids. And in the attic, it was just my uncle, his wife, and his son. His son was around two years old at the time. When he used to live in that attic, he punched a hole, like, in the wall. My family used to say, oh yeah, he's crazy, he's on drugs, he's drunk, or the wife maybe pissed him off, or for whatever reason. Those were the rumors. Until I finally confirmed that everything that they said about my uncle, they were lies. It was July. I was giving that same uncle and his other son a ride. I was just driving, and I was actually driving him to knots. We were just having a normal conversation, and then he started bringing up the whole thing about ghosts. He was like, oh, remember that house that. We used to live in Pomona? And I was like, yeah, I remember that house. Why? What's up? He was like, oh, I know that you heard about all these rumors that I was on drugs or this and that. He was like, I actually wasn't. And I was like, what do you mean? Yeah, he was like, I had a dream once. That summer in 2012 2013 something about newspapers that it was behind the wall of the attic and I was like okay I started getting chills because I was like okay like all those memories started coming back and the story about what my friend said he was like yeah the next day like I actually did punch a hole in the wall and I just wanted to see what was behind the wall He said that he actually found newspapers, that he was reading the newspapers, how an elderly lady shot a guy that looked like a cholo. So I looked at him and I told him, I was like, what? Are you sure? And he was like, yeah, like I'm positive. I'm 100% positive. I told him, I was like, oh, Stephanie Cholo. told me that this happened that night, like the summer of 2012, 2013. We all thought that she was lying. I was like, by any chance, did she come and tell you that story? Or did her mom come and tell you that story? And he was like, no, he was like, I haven't even talked to her like years prior to that. I was going to take a picture of it, but I got too scared to take a picture of it just. Because my wife was there and my son as well. So I was just like, what? I thought that they were all just rumors, stories, because I don't really believe a lot of this stuff. After I told him that, he was like, no, he was like, what the heck? That's weird. Yeah, but people think that I'm crazy because when I told him, that's what I found behind the wall. But by that time, I moved out and no one wanted to go up in the attic or anything like that. So I was just like, oh my gosh, that's crazy. I literally just told my husband about this story yesterday, and I know he's experienced stuff too. I literally went to my mom and I told her, I. Was like, hey, did my aunt ever search anything in the house or to see if there was any killings or what happened in the house or anything like that? My family is one of those that doesn't really believe in ghosts or anything like that, just because I know that my family, they're all Catholic. They try not to involve themselves with stuff like that because they always say, oh, we're going to be so stuck in that. I try to stay out of it as much as I can with all that stuff. I don't even go past that street just because I know that I've had bad dreams about it. One time I even dreamt that I was still in the house that I was living in, that I was talking to my parents. old best friend and to one of my cousins I just remember that in the dream that one of my uncles came driving fast he parked and he was like what did I tell you guys about not being back here if your cousin sees you he's gonna come and he's gonna kill you guys and I was like what my friend jumped the wall because her house was next to mine but there was like a wall in between us I don't even know where my cousin went, but I just remember that I was like running. I felt like that my heart was racing fast and that I was just in the front of their house. And then my cousin was after me and that he had a knife. He was like, what did I tell you about you guys being back there? And his eyes were like red, red. He was like, next time I catch you back there, I'm going to kill you guys. And I'm going to cut you guys up and no one's ever going. To find you. And I was like, what? I woke up, I was crying. So since I've told my mom about it and she was like, no, it's because your mind. Isn't strong enough and this and that. I was like, what do you mean? I'm like, what? Literally 10, 11 years that I haven't stopped by the street because I feel like if I drive through that street, I feel like so many of the bad memories are going to come and I'm just going to remember that. And I feel like I'm going to start having nightmares again from it. It pretty much all started when I was about five years old. And this all happened in Ontario, Canada. I was sleeping and I had a dream of my grandma. And she came to me to say goodbye pretty much. I had gone to my mom and dad's room to tell them that Grandma Kay was a blue angel. Then the next day, they got a knock on the door. It was the police saying that she had passed away in her sleep. A couple years later, we were living in a place called Kippin, and it's a really super small town. There's nothing there, just a couple buildings and everything. And there was a place called Kippin House, but we were always terrified to walk by it. We would avoid the place with as much avoidance as possible. We would cross the street to get away from Kippen Place. When I was 10 or 11 is when we moved to another place. Like, we moved from place to place all the time. But this place in particular, I would hear drums, like drum beats sometimes. Have you ever heard like native war drums or something like that? It's kind of like that, what it sounded like to me. And it would come every single night. Like I didn't get much rest when I was 10 because I kept hearing those war drums. And there was a little girl who'd show up. She would be like saying, mommy, mommy, come help me, come find me. I thought she was just a normal, regular girl. She came to me just like, for example, just like a little child would. Or you or anybody else, like solid figure. She would always be asking for her mommy and saying that she didn't know where she was and she needed to be found. So I'm not sure how... The next part is because I take what my parents say with a grain of salt, but they said that when they were expanding my bedroom, they had gotten permission from our landlord to expand it. They knocked out one of the walls, and behind one of the walls was a child-sized coffin with a little girl in it. After that, she didn't appear anymore. She just disappeared and disappeared. was mostly at peace. And then when we moved to a different place is when I started seeing the more aggressive things, I guess you could say. This was about when I was like 14, 15 years old. There was a time I was standing in the kitchen and it was a beautiful day outside. I remember looking outside the window and thinking, maybe I should go outside and play or whatnot. I turn to where the stairs are going downstairs to go outside. The bathroom is on the right. I remember looking over there and seeing a man staring out the window. He turned around and was like beckoning me to come closer. And he walked right into the bathroom. Me following him, I. Went to the washroom, and he was gone. He just wasn't there. He was wearing overalls and like a construction worker type, like a person who would be working on a building. He had no hard hat or anything on. It was just like a normal, like back in the old days, what a person would wear when they were constructing a building when it was less safe. But later, we had found out that one of the people who built the upstairs addition to the house had fallen down the stairs and passed away in the house. That same place, we had two bedrooms. My parents slept in the living room. In the bedroom that I slept in, I was working on some schoolwork. When I went to put my schoolwork down on the dresser, I looked outside the window and I could see in the cornfield something. I didn't know what it was exactly at the moment, but I knew it was floating and it was like this weird mist looking thing surrounding it. You know, like when you stare at a fire and like the mist around the cold air and the hot heat from the fire reacting together. Not even a second later, it was right in front of my face, and I could see that it was a burning skull. That really scared the living daylights out of me. I didn't even want to sleep in that bedroom anymore, but we didn't really have a choice. And my brother didn't want to sleep in the room, so I couldn't switch. But that was a very scary experience for me. This was about 14, 15 years old. I was sleeping and it was around 5 o'clock. And this is the most scariest experience that I've had by far throughout my entire life. It was 5 a.m. I had gone to the washroom and went back to the bedroom. It was quite quiet, like there was nothing going on in the room, no TV playing, no stereo playing, so pretty quiet. I seen in the corner of my room, a dark figure. It literally looked like the Grim Reaper, like a black cowl. His face was covered in black. I couldn't see his face. The only thing I could see was his red eyes, glowing red eyes. His hands that reached out towards me were like skin and bones. They were like somebody's hands that were like 80 or 100 years old, how their skin is kind of like falling off their fingers and everything. He reached out to what looked like to grab me, and I started to go into a seizure. Next thing I know, there was a blinding white light. I had woken up five minutes later. In the last place that I had experience, we had a big farmhouse and everything. And right outside my bedroom window was an actual tombstone of the person who built the house. So I would go and play around with witchcraft and stuff like that. Making sacrifices to the goddess and everything like that. It was during... The years, like, I was really super depressed, and I just didn't care, didn't want to be around anyone anymore. And I had gone to bed one night, and I woke up. I would wake up to use the washroom, and then I'd, like, run. I would always run because I was always scared to be there. The house had, like, this really dark feeling to it, really oppressive. I would. run back and forth to the washroom, to the bedroom, and I would always wake up and turn on my lights. The light switch was outside, so I'd have to go into the hallway to turn my lights on, and I would sleep with the lights on because it was pretty scary there. And at the time, my future husband, he was a skeptic, so he didn't really believe in all this stuff, and he didn't believe what I told him and he was like, no, none of that's actually real. It's like all in your head and everything like that. One day we were sitting in the living room. He had a glass of water sitting on the windowsill and the glass of water came flying off the windowsill and landed on the floor. So it was pretty much like, haha, I am real and here's proof of it. He tried to put a different glass on the thing to see if it would come off again, and it never did. He could never recreate how the glass just flew off the windowsill. Could also have to do with the fact that I was messing around with some stuff that shouldn't have been messed around with. For example, like the seances at midnight and all that. witchcraft stuff that I used to be into when I was, like, a little bit more depressed. My parents were really religious, so I was kind of, like, rebelling against my parents. I didn't like the way they had treated me, so I was like, I'm going to do the polar opposite of what I was forced into believing to as a child. I was, like, baptized at a And I didn't get to really choose what I believed in when I was a kid. So I was like, I'm going to do the exact opposite. I'm going to like, I want to make you mad. I want to make you disappointed. You know, like I want to rebel a little bit because I was too scared to rebel when I was a little young. and then when I got to age 18 19 I was like I'm an adult now you can't tell me what to do or what to believe in now and I believe that there's more than one god and goddess and everything like that like who could Make a world in seven days, all that stuff. I was really just rebelling against it all. I was angry. The first story happened in early 2016. It was me and my grandma at this time in the house because at that time everybody had moved out. On the weekends, my cousins would come over. This week in particular, I had two cousins come over. Normally we do movie nights or we'll just hang out and listen to music and relax, keeping my grandma company pretty much. So this night we decided to do a movie night. We decided to watch the scary movie, The Boy, which really wasn't that scary if anybody has ever seen it. So for that night, we brought one of the mattresses out in the room, put it in the living room so that two of us could be on the mattress and one of us be on the sofa. We're watching the movie. We get to the end of the movie. It's playing the credits and I'm laying on the mattress. In the living room, we have a fireplace that has a chimney with plugs on the side. On there, I had a portable speaker that was probably a triangle size that you could clip on your clothes or anywhere. I heard it go off. And I start laughing because in my head, I'm thinking my cousins are trying to scare me. So I just start laughing and I ignore it. Next thing I know, It turns on and starts playing music. The song it starts playing is Tiptoe Through the Tulips. If anybody ever seen Insidious, then you know the song comes on towards the end where it's either the devil or a demon is sharpening the knife and playing the song on a turntable. So I start laughing because I'm thinking they're playing a joke. We all look at each other And I say, so who is playing the music? And who's trying to scare me? They both look at me and say, not me. And they asked me if I was playing it. I said, no. So to prove it, I said, well, let's look at each other's phone. We looked at each other's phone and nobody was connected to the speaker. So we ran to my grandma's room and we told her about it. When we come back, the speaker's just completely off. I've lived in this house all the way from up until I was probably 24. I grew up there, never experienced anything. As a kid, we would always have parties and everything. People would come over. No one ever really experienced anything. But when I do talk to cousins now, Now that we're older, every once in a while, I'll get, how could you live there? The house was scary, which for me was not scary. But for them, it always seemed scary because it was a big house. And I guess because they didn't live there. And I've never really experienced anything up until that point. A few months ago, goodbye. And the same cousins come over. We're just hanging out in the front room. At this time, it's summer. We're hanging out in the dining. Room, actually. And we're just listening to music, talking, having a good time. The house doesn't have central AC. So we only have AC units in the windows. The only room that actually gets pretty cold was my grandma's room. So as the night's ending, coming to an end, we decide to... grab a mattress and go to my grandma's room and sleep on the floor in there with her. I'm getting goosebumps as I'm talking about this. So we're laying down and one of my cousins is on her phone and she says, do y'all hear that? And me and the other cousin are like, no, we don't hear nothing. And then it turns off and she's like, okay, it must have been nothing because it stopped. A few minutes later, it comes back on and she looks at us and she says, do you hear it now? And we said, yes. We listened very closely and it's playing the same song, Tip the Tulips. We all look at each other and we're pretty scared at this point because we're This is the second time it happened and with the same two cousins and where my grandma's reminding. So we look at my grandma and we're like, do you hear that? We were scared. And my grandma just says, oh, don't pay attention to it. All you have to do is just pray. And we're like, okay. So we lay back down and I start praying. And growing up Catholic, I was not really that much as church, but the only prayer I know is the Our Father. So I start saying it. The moment I start saying it, the sound gets closer and closer. We left the speaker, that same speaker that was from the first time, we left it on the dining room table where we were at. So there's no possible way that the speaker could have been where it ended up. So when I was praying, the speaker started moving. It sounded like it was moving. So then... I kept saying the prayer like once or twice. And as it kept getting closer, it just kept getting closer and louder and louder and louder until finally it was like at the door. The speaker was at the door. Nobody has a key to the house, just me and my grandma. And nobody, there's no way anybody could have gotten in when it's just me and my grandma and my two cousins. The speaker is by the door at this point. And we're like, we're scared. So we go and turn on all the lights because the music stopped. We turn on all the lights. We go looking for the speaker. The TV in the front room, the living room, was close to my grandma's bedroom door. We had the TV on a stand. When we went to the room, the living room, to look for it, we found that the speaker floated somehow from the dining room table to the TV stand in the back so that it was hitting the door in my grandma's room. For people who know, like, the tip of the tulip, the song itself, it's just creepy in general. So having that be one of the main songs from the scary movie that plays again is just crazy. A few months later passes. And this time is just me and my grandma. She's asleep in her room. I'm asleep in the living room on the sofa. And it's the middle of the night and I'm already knocked out. For some reason, I wake up. I think at this time it's like three or, you know, like they say three o'clock is the witching hour. I wake up around that time and something just tells me, go to your phone. I pick up my phone And the first app I open is the music app. I don't know why that. I do not know what made me open the music app. I open it and the first album I see is an album that I've never added or I ever, I don't know what it is. So I'm half asleep and half awake and I click it. I didn't read the title either. So I just clicked on the song itself without even reading it. And sure enough, it was a tiptoe to the two love song. Jasmine, Amanda and Juan, thank you so much for sharing your stories here. I know that these stories were really short and also really eerie. And I was thinking of making a compilation kind of thing like this where we have several stories. one right after the other i found that super interesting we do have some outtakes that i want to make available for scary plus members i'm trying to figure out how we're going to add these on there if they're going to be standalone episodes how is this going to look when you see it so it's just not it doesn't make a mess out of the whole feed of stories but I'll come up with something. Scary Plus, by the way, is our membership. So in case you want to listen to the episodes without ads, or if you're impatient and you want to get them early, feel free to check it out. You get to try it out for free, scaryplus.com. You can also find the link for it on our website and in the description of this episode as well.
