Welcome to true scary story. In a small town in Texas, Geneva and her mother Linda lived through strange occurrences in their home and a thing that multiple people saw roaming around quite literally underneath their floors. In this recording, you'll get to listen to the conversation as they tell me with the witness. My name is Edwin and here is Geneva San Linda. It's true scary story where from Markham, Texas. It's a small little town. You have to really pay attention to see this little town. I know. I was like, I'll be around six seven. My mom had gotten to a new marriage, moved into a house at the outside of town. It was near a church. I moved in with her because I was living with my grandma. Moved in, we started decorating the house away we wanted and everything and getting excited new place. After getting settled in, we started experiencing little weird things. We had a bathroom that was like the guest bathroom where everyone to use, and it had a shower and the shower had sliding doors, glass sliding doors. The light in there was a ray damp. But I just had a bad feeling about this bathroom. I started noticing, like the sliding door. When I turned my back towards it, I feel like a gust of cold air. And I would turn back look back at the door wide open. I'm like, what the heck? So cose the third time and just try to finish. And next week the door was open again, but this time there was a handprint on the door, like from the mist. That was like my I was like, okay, that's it. I don't care if I have shampoo and my hair still, I'm out. I'm out of here. It was like a grown man's hand friend on the air. Another time, my mom's husband, he's a truck driver, so he's poorly ever home, so we knew he wasn't really ever there. And he and my sister when she was a toddlers, we decide we're gonna go sleep with my mom in her room. And my mom's room is pitch black. I don't know where. My mom just wakes me up by Geneva, wake up. I looked like, what's wrong, and she's look at the door like our her bedroom door. On the other side of her bedroom door was the kitchen slash dining area. The light turned on next we just see like a shadow walked by underneath the door, like you could see the light from under the door. Just see a shadow walk past. And then we just stood there the corner, sat up in our bed, just like standing there just staring with the heck. And then we just see you go back by again. That shadow just comes back, but it comes walking up to the door. It just stands there and then well light just went off and we were just like looking at each other kind of what is going on? And I didn't really sleep that good that night. I just pretty much stayed away looking around, is like what's going on? I know my mom had when her husband did come, they would have some friends come stay a night and stuff, and there was another little spare room that we had and sometimes they would come tell us like, were y'all checking on us and stuff throughout there? And I were like no. My Mom's like, no, nobody would check on all. We were all asleep and if even if her husband wasn't there, me and my sister would sleep with her and She's like, no, no one would come check on you all. They're like, we swear there's somebody else in here, because we could hear them walking around at night and we're like, no, it's not us. And sometimes they would even want to stay a night. They couldn't even stay most of the night. We shared a room, me and my two siblings, but they weren't there. It was just me and my mom. Again. I was playing my video game and I sit beside the window to my left and I could hear something at my window. And it was twelve o'clock or so. I turned my game off, turn the volume down all the way is possible, and I lean into the window and I could hear someone whistling, like just whistling, and then they would stop and giggle. It was like a man's giggle, and he would just whistle again. I'm a little kid, there's someone out my window. I want my mom. So I get up and I run to the living room and to go to my mom. But my almost already at the liver room window with her hand out to me, and she's trying to tell me, hey be quiet. I hear something. And I go up to her. I'm like, you hear it too, and she was like, yeah, I hear it, hear it, and we both listened, lean up to the window. No one like two people talking, which could hear them talking, and they would do this evil giggle and start talking a little bit. Again. I'm looking at her, what is that? And she said communicating or somebody's communicating or whatever. Whenever she called my uncle, he lived not far from us, and she told him, Hey, there's somebody outside. Can you please come over check around the house for us? And this my uncle is a big man. Nothing scares him. So he's gat out come and comes out there. He checks all around the house and we're I'm not going outside. I'm staying inside with my mom. But he didn't say nothing at the time, and he just reassured us if you need us, like need him again, call and so we're like, okay, that wasn't the first time that we had to call him, because well the only time we had to call him again a couple of times because we kept hearing it, like someone out our window just talking and giggling. And but I know for sure what I've heard of was a man out there. I think the fourth time we finally called him or so, he did say he did see something, but he couldn't give us a description. He came out again, it was late at night, walked around the house like he always did with his flashlight, and he heard something on the roof. He could hear someone walking on the roof and he's looking up there with the flashlight. Haye was up there, up there and not to respond or anything, but he took the flashlight off from the roof to look around again, and he heard it running from the roof like it runs down the roof, and it jumped into the tree that was near our house. Saw like a black figure. But it was gone, like after he walked around the tree and stuff, it was just gone. He told my mom about it. Of course, she didn't tell me Tontil I was older, because she know to be scared. But she had some other experience from inside the house. Whenever you want to tell your side moment. One day I was washing dishes and for some reason I looked up and I had a vase. I had a little bit of fish in there with an ivy and when I looked in, I looked up and for some raison, I saw three shadows. It was dark shadows. It reflected from the ball. I didn't know if it was angels or it was like three dark shadows turned around real quick, and I felt something behind me, turned around. There was nothing there, so I didn't know what it was. I got rid of it because I didn't want to ever see that again. And then we have a pantry and I would have to turn on the lights every time I passed the pantry. You could feel something in there, so I would leave the light on. In that pantry, there was an open door, there was an attic from top, so I just felt very uncomfortable, so I would leave the light on just so I if something was in there I could see. But you would always see a shadow in there, and you could always hear something roffling the light back of the chips or something in there. It was just a really bad vibe in that house. I know another time I was standing in the kitchen doing something. I don't know where what I was doing. I was doing something. I was just so you're just standing still, just staying there, and I felt something hit the bottom of the floor where I was standing, hit get hard like where I was standing at and I'm like, what the heck? When the house is on brigs, like like concrete slabs get hit right under me like it hit hard. It made me jump like bounce. That's how hard it hit with all the scores. Of course, little kid runs to my mom and I'm like, mom, something just hit the bottom where I was, like under the floor where I was standing. She was decided, she's gonna go check it out. She's going, I'm gonna go, I'm gonna go look to see myself. And this is her. Yes, we've been having fed up with the occurrences. Linda heads outside and see something that still scares her to this day. Stay with us for the second part of the story. Right after we've been having those knocks underneath the house for a while and f I got sat up with it and I said, you know what, I Am going to get the flash this is already dark. I went outside, I leaned down, I got to the ground, I was laying on my stomach, and I started looking around with the flashlight. What I saw there, okay, oh, this gives me the creeps. There was like a mount underneath the house with dirt. When I got the flashlight and it went to that area, there was a creature. It looks like a old man, a small old man with huge round eyes. Its hands were on the mount and it looked barely any hair. It had old teeth. It scared me so bad that I yelled. I got up. I literally ripped three toenails completely off my toes from fear, ran into the house, and I couldn't talk for two days. I was in shock. I stayed in bed for two days still I could not talk. I didn't even know that I read three to nails off my toes. It was the most scariest thing I've ever had seen. My mom was a job of a witness. She ended up having people come to the house and reading the Bible, trying to bless it and stuff like that. It didn't get better, it got worse. More things were happening, and plus whatever I saw underneath that house we kept it was getting worse in the hit and I just said that's enough. I got to get out of this home. When I told my mom, I told my kids, I told my husband at that time, and of course he didn't believe me. I got to where I didn't even get out of the house at night no more. I didn't drive, no more. At nights, I didn't do anything because it felt like it was with me. That's when I said, enough is enough. I've got to get out of here. We moved out of there because once it wasn't like it was still continuing. I know, I don't think she's ever seen it anymore after that. I just know if she saw it that first time, and that really freaked her out. We try to bless it, and we couldn't get it to go away it We just said no, what, we just gotta leave. Every time we passed by that house, we still think about what we went through in that house. I feel like it was a demon for her to talk about it. It's very rare because she doesn't like talking about her experience either, like that. When it all happened, I saw how scarce she was. Why would not eat just cold up in a ball in her room, just scared. And that's wearin things about me as I'm always spend that time that I'm not scared of anything either. I don't. I'm one of those I have to be strong person and everything. But this took a lot. It changed me a lot. I got to wear Oh, I said my prayers every night. Now, yeah, I do. We have to pass by the house to get out of town. We usually don't look that way, we try not to look that way. But whenever I did ask her. I was like, you know, I I wonderful how if they experienced anything like we did. And she's like, I don't want to know. I don't want to go there. I know my sister, she had said that she was little, she did see something like hover something black shadow, hover over something tall in her room, hovering over her. That's why she started sleeping with me, and she slept with me till the age of fifteen. Yeah, yeah, yeah, the kids would My kids would always get mad why she was, but yeah, she saw that. She's one of those that can see shadows and she uh a lot and stop. She don't forget that at all. That's with my daughter, my youngest daughter. We moved here to my grandfather's house and everything like that. When we lived upstairs, it would do it to her there. She would always see a shadow hovered over her. But she said this one hat a goat had. Now she lives in her own home and she's shadow people in her own home right now too, So I think it follows her. But then she's been able to sense things since she was little, and it always seems like this one tall thing follows her. My mom did put video cameras around my grandpa's house. My grandpa's elderly, and when my grandma passed away, he went through depression. So we put cameras all around the house because there's a lot of stealing going on and stuff around town. My sister had my old room because I used to live with my grandma too, and she had a camera facing that, like towards the house, facing that area, and they caught a creature outside of her window and looked like the crept. It was crawling on like just standing there staring at the camera. Can we still have that picture? No, Leanne might have it still, she might have it on it. She showed me the picture of it, and I was like, what the heck is? I like, we got cameras are everywhere's in this house, in this yard. Now. They even put cameras up in the attic because my grandpa's house is two story I guess they's two stories and it has upstairs, but it has four atticts in the house. It's a big giant house. But they would hear things up there, and I know for sure it took one picture of old man's face upstairs. Nobody goes upstairs and slips upstairs. Nobody goes up there and they're like an apartment upstairs. Nobody uses the upstairs. My uncle back then, when my grandma was alive, he used to have his room upstairs, like it was cut off from the rest of like the part of the living room, the part of the upstairs. It had a wall like and had his own little room. He did live up there, but he didn't really tell me much though, until I got ordered. He just said, yeah, that's old white lady and dressed in white, and he said, you would wake up and she's just staring out his bedroom window, just staring out. There's been other times where he like tried to go to like the restroom or something, and he had a pool table, and he said he would just see her like standing on the other side of the pool table looking at him. I think a lot of it happened though my grandma's house. My grandma was the walk of the family, and she was the religious one, like to the bi like all the whole Bible. She is all about God. And when she passed away unexpectedly, that was like what five years ago things started happening. I was a sleep one night and you're at the house and I don't know whar something grabbed my ankle, literally grabbed my ankle and pulled me. Of course, I was like, what the heck, and I got up turned on the lights. I thought it was either my uncle or my mom, because we have their ashes here, because they my uncle passed away November the eighth, and then my mom passed away November the eighteenth, a whole a month apart. So I have both their ashes here in this house, and I thought it was them. Oh, I still feel things at nights. I have to turn on the light. I'm like, but I don't get scared anymore because I'm thinking it's them. I don't want to think that it's anything else in this house. I want to think that it's them. We still go through things in my dad's house. Even my dad said after my mom passed away, he wouldn't sleep in my mom's side, and he says that he would bitterally fill my mom sit. He's snaked as my mom sit on her side of the bed, and he said he would fill a hand rub his cheek just at night when he was sleeping. And of course he likes this, my mom. Yeah, like rubbing his cheek, like seating him because when she left to the hospital, she said, I'm not saying goodbye, I'll be back. And when she left to the hospital, she never came back. And I think she came back, but because she never did say tell she wouldn't tell us goodbye. My uncle wanted to come home and he never did. He was never able to come home. So I brought his ashes, and his ashes are here. He's home. Next to this house is my aunt's house. But her house used to be their busher shop. They owned a lot of land beside that is warland. It is an old barn that used to be like a poor stable, and my sister has her trailer house on the land over there. I know, like my sister, like she my mom was saying, she moves into her house. She still she shadows people. And I know my aunt, she had three sons, and they've seen things down their house and it's I don't know if it's connected with the land or what, but that's just the stuff that we experience. Who do you think was around their home? Let me know. Do you have a true scary story you want to share. Head on over to true scarystory dot com and fill out the form.
