Story Submission Terms & Conditions

By submitting your story (in writing or as an audio recording) to Scary FM, you agree to the following:

1. Permission to Use

You grant Scary FM a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, edit, adapt, distribute, and publicly share your submitted story, in whole or in part. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Use in podcasts across the Scary FM network

  • Use on Scary FM websites, newsletters, and other digital platforms

  • Use on Scary FM’s social media accounts

2. Name, Voice & Likeness

If your submission includes your name, voice, or other identifying information, you grant Scary FM permission to use those elements as part of sharing your story. We may use your name or keep you anonymous, depending on your submission and preferences.

3. Ownership

You retain ownership of your story. This agreement only grants Scary FM the right to share and use it as described above.

4. No Compensation

Story submissions are voluntary. You will not receive payment, royalties, or compensation for Scary FM’s use of your story unless otherwise agreed to in writing.

5. Representations & Warranties

By submitting your story, you confirm that:

  • The story is your original work, or you have the right to share it.

  • Your submission does not infringe on any third-party rights.

  • You are at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent/guardian if under 18.

6. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed under the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

7. Agreement

By submitting your story, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
